A single coil with 10 wraps on a 3mm pin would give you about 0.9 ohms. The Sigelei 150 will run down to about 0.1 ohms. You have a short in the atty or a defective Sigelei. Has the Sigelei run any other attys successfully?

Do you have a ohms reader and if so, what does that think the atty resistance is?

They both worked before I have tank in my mod now it's work in but the rda isn't tried on 3 different mods

Clay, I suspect you might be posting from a phone that doesn't make it easy for you to put in punctuation. The problem is I can't understand what you're trying to say.

If there is any way you can make what you said a bit clearer it would really help me out here :)

Make sure your coils are not touching either of the posts. Also when I first started building I dropped a tiny piece of kanthal down into the deck after I clipped my leads. It shorted from the deck to the positive post. And worst comes to worse pull the build out and start again I know it's a pain but I think everyone has scrapped a build at some point in their vamping journey.

Sorry haha yeah my phone auto corrects so what I was trying to say is my mod works fine but my rda is not working at all anyway to fix the short?

You got some great replies about where the short might be coming from Clay. Check them out and see what you can figure out.

I have a Mutation X ver 1 and I can attest to the wonky screws on mine, but they are manageble. My screws also had pretty sharp edges on the bottoms that I filed down so I could put more force on them when tightening them without cutting the wire. But none of this should give you a short.

Obviously, make sure no wire ends that stick out are touching a surface they should not touch. If you take and post a clear picture of your build that would help us troubleshoot this with you.

Make sure your coils don't touch the cap when you put it on or that will give you a short. A good way to eliminate this from the picture is to fire the mod without the cap on and if that's good but the Sig shows a short with the cap on you know that caused it.

It's also possible the MX has a short in the center, positive insulator. If this is the case if you try to fire it with no coils in it it will show a short.
