I just received my TFV4 and RX200 yesterday. Haven't had a real cigarette in over 36 hours. The vape life was meant for me. I just had a couple maintenance questions for the TFV4.

1. How often, if at all, should I disassemble the tank and clean the tank/coil?

2. This morning when I picked up my e cig, I noticed some juice had leaked out of the bottom airflow slots, only the ones toward the front of my RX200. It was on a level surface all night and did not fall over. Should I close the bottom air holes when it is not going to be in use while I sleep?

Thanks for any input you may have for me, and if you can think of any tips for me in the future with my TFV4 or RX200 I would greatly appreciate it.

hi there

nice setup :)

cleanng the tank is optional, maybe for a new juice taste, for the coils you will notice when they go bad in the taste (burned foul ..)
once a coil starts to go off you can put it in pure (human consumable) alcohol (or vodka) for a coul-ple of hours fiddle in the coils with some paper towl rince in the alcohol cover the bottom air holes and blow in the top to get as much out as possible and let it dry
this dous prolong the life of your coils but not forever
if you can't get it decent you have to put in a new coil
there are a lot of options for the TFV4 ;p

the leaking, you are not the first to say this but i never had any leaks on it that where not my own stupid fault (i use minimum 50% vg juices (thicker liquid less possible leaking)
dissasemble check all the o rings if you have cleaned the tank or in new state (best to clean first) put some e liquid on the o rings (just a bit smear it around) things can be stiff if you didnt do this, and assemble everithing should thread nicely tight but dont put to much force behind it;
important is to check that where the chimny goes in the coil the o ring is completely in the coil
the threading should be fluent dont force somting together if it dousnt feel right, twist back catch the threading

it should not leak
there have been reports of the silicone disc (where you fill) not closing corectly
there is a guy on youtube that cuts the upper lips of the opening level with the surface he claims it fixes that, or you could use the spare but try the rest first (or if the silicone realy looks bad)

if you use 1 of the rba decks leaking would be to little cotton or cotton toucing the air holes

for the rx200 use a seperate charger for the batteries as it dousn't charge your batteries equally in the device
a second pair of batteries is always nice

hope this helps

Couple of things.

A) Sitting for long periods can cause some Juice creeping(wicking) to the point of dripping down from the wick. Simply wipe and go.
B) Tank can be sat inverted for long periods and should not leak. If it shows wetness around the top, it is not sealing properly. <Flip the top seat and test>
C) All sections and Coil should be good and snug - don't over tighten - for a good air seal.

Normally if a heavier leak is resent, the coil bottom o-ring seal is suspect.
Dampness around the base of Glass would be lower seal.
Dampness around the upper glass would be upper seal.
Dampness around the Fill section would be Top Seal/Swing top issue.

Hope this helps some.

Apparently the TFV4 isn't recommended to be used on the rx200
Damage to the 510 won't be covered under warranty.
Lame.
