The E-Power 14650 and other mods that use batteries with more than 1000mAh capacity will cure that situation. Average vapers get more than one day between charges with these batteries. I have six 14650 batteries which will last me 8-10 days. I charge them up in one batch on the weekend.

E-Power 14650 kits usually include two batteries. Use one battery one day and charge the other. If you want to do less charging buy some more batteries and chargers (or a multi-cell charger) and charge them in one batch.

o.k. i was looking atdeal extreme and found these TrustFire Protected 18650 Lithium Battery (2500mAh 2-Pack Blue) 7.99
18650 won't fit the E-Power 14650. Here you go...

hang on, wrong info.. I'm correcting. I buy too many Li-ion batteries in different sizes

...OK, sorry for my befuddlement.

I purchased my last batch of 14500s from DX, not 14650.

I got the E-Power 14650 batteries from Focalprice on December 10. These are protected TrustFire Blue 14650s. Free shipping.

"Given the TrustFire has an amp output rating of only 1.3 amps, and is attempting to power the LR atty which is attempting to draw around 2.47 amps, this extreme voltage drop is to be expected, and is REALLY stressing the battery. This is a 3.7v battery sucked down to 3.40v fresh off the charger with only a 5 second button press. The BDL does not fare much better for being marketed as an IMR high drain battery. The AW IMR is supplying more than enough amperage, and maintains it's rated 3.7V."

The TrustFire protected blue works great in the E-Power 14650. The 1600mAh rating is probably exaggerated but I find that they run just as long as the 1050 rated mAh Smoktech-supplied 14650s, if not longer. Neither show any sign of "stress" using the Smoktech 1.7 ohm LR XL carto. The batteries don't show any sign of overheating during use and have held up just fine.

I couldn't find a multi-cell charger that had a charge profile I liked and was reasonably priced. The one six-cell charger I found priced at $37 terminated charge at 4.2V, which is too high. I like chargers that terminate between 4.1 and 4.17V, like the chargers included with the E-Power 14650.

Here is how I got safe and sane 6-cell charging at a reasonable price:

Just a heads up regarding the popular and inexpensive TrustFire TR-001 2-cell charger. I have one purchased last year for some of my other Li-ions. It's a fine charger but neither the Smoktech or TrustFire Blue 14650 will fit. They are too long. In fact, the list of batteries the TR-001 will charge is shown on the protective plastic case. It doesn't list 14650 but lists 18650. Go figure.

The E-power has been my primary vape for 10 months now and is still going strong. I haven't had to replace a switch. I use the Trust fire TR14650 and a tank. Works all the time.
