Right behind you...
Someone from the b&m i go to is selling a authentic hana modz mini, its the dna 20 i know its a older model but im not looking for anything over 30 watts, hes asking 85.00 is that a fair price?

Not these days, and not for a DNA20 for sure. For that kind of money you can buy one of several decent quality new Chinese 20-30w regulated mods with larger and/or replaceable batteries and have change left over for a nice topper. Heck, you can even get a HM Mini DNA30 clone for $50 or less if you really like the look and feel.

One of the reasons (besides prestige and patriotism) that people pay the high price for a genuine Hana (or Vapor Shark, etc) is for the warranty and peace of mind, and you can bet that "old" DNA20 mod is no longer covered by warranty.

Kinda depends on the length of time it was used for and the load put on that battery every day imo. If i'm not mistaken those Hana mini's come with a built in LiPo. Batteries don't last forever. And at some point it will need replacing by Hana. Secondly 20 watts for 85$ is high to me, but i'm fine with china crap. Its probably not a bad price considering its an original, but that's more of a personal question i guess.

When you buy a used Hana you are only purchasing a NAME at a high price.

Hana backed their mods to original owners so the mod had a better value to owners. None the less, they only built a BOX to put someone else chip in.
Same as any other company selling genuine DNA Boxes.

You have to decide and do for you. Personally, I would pass.

B&M is always going to be more expensive -- but if he will support you if you encounter issues thats more convenient t shipping things back and forth after an online purchase.

if your pinching pennies buy online -- if you like the mod and are willing to pay a premium from the local b&m buy it from them... if it were me i think id buy an ipv3 or something instead for almost the same coin.

Thanks for the input everyone, im gonna pass on it and shop around for one. Can someone on here reccomend a site besides fasttech or ebay where i can get a decent dna 30 clone?

I'd stay away from clones. Get something with an Evolv or YiHi chip. While the jury on the Evolv chip is still out for me (haven't used one long enough), it's got a great reputation and I have had luck with YiHi. The chips I've used from Cloupor and Smok died in around a month.

This is a good deal if you want an Evolv chip. You can't change the battery (you couldn't on the Hana either), but it's got an authentic DNA chip.

Vapor Shark DNA Batteries and Accessories | VaporShark.com

There may be some coupon codes for Vapor Shark if you dig a bit as well (not sure though).
