Goodnight all!
(PC) Control+FSince it's not in alphabetical order, is there a way to search doc for vendor we are looking for?
(PC) Control+F
(Mac) Command+F
You are very welcome and thanks.
I've added Provape and thezfo.com to the list.
You should be able to search the document with your browsers search. I use google chrome and that is what I've been doing.
Sure is. Last 4 digits of my SS? NO, NO, NO. there are enough publuc records around to verify someone age with name and DOB. People throw those SS numbers around too easily. And then they get hacked. The process is simple and streamlined. Enter your first and last name, date of birth, mobile number, and last 4 of your social. Your age will be verified within 20 seconds, and you are off to select your shipping option and complete checkout. If for any reason their system fails, please let us know, and also contact help@bluecheck.me.
See? Can't trust nobody. It's a yo-yo.
@tmcase I placed an order with Evape US again yesterday. They have that box that pops up about being 18. Nothing else. They must go with name, adress be ause on the receipt they emaile me was this line: "AVS Results : Exact match, 5-character numeric ZIP".
Obviously this AVP doesn't need to be as invasive as some companies choose to make it.
Just got this email from Kidney Puncher - Blue text mine:
As some of you may have seen, we have had some great difficulties with our age verification service. It's hard to be a vendor that generally cares so much about our customers, to have someone we buy from not show the same kind of love. In short, we've heard you guys, and we've heard you loud and clear. We're working to get another system in place as soon as possible but today, we know what we must do. Today, we are turning off our BlueCheck verification system. This does not mean that we will not be verifying. We will be doing manual verification until we get a new system in place. Simply put, we cannot have our customers put through this hassle and headache any longer. As strange as it sounds, manual verification should be much easier on you guys. You will be requested to send in a photo ID selfie to verify you are who you say you are, but doing this once will cover you until we get a new system in place. (sounds to me that they are doing this UNTIL they have a new system in place for those who want to order before then)
We understand that there are privacy concerns with sending information in that manner. If you feel the need to obsfuscate data to put your mind at ease, feel free to do so. Keep in mind, however, that the more you obfuscate, the harder it is for us to tell whether it is a genuine photo ID. And you absolutely cannot obfuscate your date of birth or your name. If you have one of those old school IDs that has your whole SSN on it or something of that nature, feel free to cover that up as we don't need that.
So in short, there will be an extra step to ordering but it will remain very much the same. No need to worry about a third-party vendor that may or may not still be alive. If you have any concerns along the way, we no longer have to refer you to some other company. We can handle any verification issues that we have in house.
If you have any issues, feel free to give us a call at (866) 705-5000 or send an email over to support@kidneypuncher.com
We hope that this makes things easier on you guys as we find another solution.
Thank you. Added to the list.one of my regular juice supplier before aug 8th, that1vape.com (not on list) thankfully decided to stop using BC.
"'We have discontinued using Bluecheck as our age verification provider. We now have a seamless age verification provider that uses better technology which means ordering will feel the same way as it did before. You will not have to enter anything extra in a pop up window anymore. You order like you did in the past and we will verify your age before we send out the order. If we have issues with the information you entered we will contact you directly so please put down a real working phone number."'
I totally agree. In fact, that magnetic strip on all credit cards carry a lot of info not only name and card number. It includes address, dob also. I didn't know that until a recent episode of my card number being fraudulently used. The new chip method is suppose to eliminate the use of swipe-ing the card but until all pos merchants are in compliance they have both.@tmcase I placed an order with Evape US again yesterday. Here is an alphabetized Word document of the AV list so far. You can copy & paste it into a document file on your PC but you will have to update it yourself until I can figure out a better way. Hope this helps and sorry about the spaces between vendor names. The forum software is putting them there. The forum software is also making some text RED.
You're welcome but remember, that list won't be updated. Only the google doc in the first post will be updated. You get the pleasure of inserting new vendors where they belong on YOUR list. Thanks so much ... makes it much easier to use.![]()
Do you know what AV service they use? Did they ask for anything?doodlebugsejuice, com = NO Bluecheck
