I've built up to 1.8 Ohms and down to .3 Ohms. 1.8 is fine for MTL. .3 is a little hot. The post holes are large enough for just about anything up to, IIR, 22 gauge.

My happy spot is is about a 24 AWG 6 wrap, spaced. Comes in right around .5 Ohms.

Wrap the coil, then come under the coil and bend the legs parallel to the coil. Snip one side shorter. Insert the long side, then the short, then trim, wick, prime, fill, vape.

My favorite so far is twisted 2x 28g about 6 wraps trapped under the screwed, comes out between 1-0.97ohms. Wick is cut to slightly rest on the deck.

Hey sketch, what kind of power are you putting into that dual twisted 28g Kanthal coil ? I have some twisted 28g sitting here and was just curious. Good talking to you again BTW.

Well I kinda take melo hits, so I run mine at 18-19watts. I could crank it up but I don't see the point with my setup plus my wicking is only but so good. Works great, nice flavor, but I'm in the process of converting most to 3x32g kanthal. All though I might give SS another try just so darn springy when you twist it, idk how to get around it. Always good talking to you, seems we are in the same boat as far as vaping style.

The standard Lemo 2 build, as per the prebuilt coil that comes with it, is around 7/8 wraps of 26g kanthal on a 3mm inner diameter, and that comes out at around 1.1 ohms.

From there you can go anywhere, though with kanthal i always found it best to stick with the default build with kanthal. Theres a reason they made the premade like that, it works best.

One constant is wrapping coils on 3mm inner diameter on the Lemo, it works out to be the best size

Moving on to other wires...

Nickel - Youre going to want about 10/11 wraps on 3mm id to get the right ohms and surface area. the lowest ohmage build ive ever done 0.09, purely for testing, was done using nickel. Dont assume lower results in a better vape, because this wasnt the greatest vape. I know a lot of people are given the impression you arent cool unless youre doing a mental low ohm build, dont assume its true. Nickel is a pain in the bottom to work woth, has some safety concerns....i jettisoned it for stainless many months ago.

Titanium - cant say, i never got any Ti wire..i went straight from kanthal (vw) to nickel (temp control) to stainless steel (vw/temp control)

Stainless Steel - similar to the default kanthal build - about 7/8 wraps on 3mm id will get you about 0.6 ohms and works well whether you use it in power/vw mode, and works great in temperature control as i currently do. You can use SS in either mode, which is a plus. If you do plan to use temperature control and stainless steel, i recommend 0.5+ ohm coils, works best.

Im known for loving my Lemo 2 to death, my poor TFV4 Mini hardly gets used...
