Kraken SS cable measurement

I got my Kraken in the mail yesterday. I was smart, or so I thought, and ordered some SS cable from here:

I was originally directed to the first choice (3/32-25mm) and did not know that they had the second one until I searched for an o-ring later. It is a bit short and fits snugly in the hole. The other choice is 5/64-30mm. Funny how both in the descriptions say "for the Kraken".

I am wondering if the smaller diameter cable might work better for me using an eko sleeve. What diameter do you find is the best? I have already determined that 30mm length is the better choice.

I've never sleeved cable with ekowool. I've sleeved it with a small piece of mesh, under the coil area. 3/32 has worked fine for me.

Cable with ekowool sleeves. Dual coil 0.4ohms.

That build looks identical to my build. .41 Ohms

Ekowool sleeves over cable work very nicely - no shorts (you can even have the cable touching metal in the tank as it receives no current), and greatly reduced chance of hot legs.

Because you're insulating the wick with the eko, you're only concern will be the cable's capillary action, which I haven't seen to be particularly dependant on guage.

I don't see the need for the ekowool sleeve. I just use mesh with duals.
