Hi all,I am a newbie from the uk. I just wanted your opinion on my new setup that I have ordered, It should be with me on tuesday. I have ordered the mvp 2.0 shine( in pink lol) and iclear 30s clearomixers. I have also ordered viv novas ( mini and standard) and iclear 16 clearomizers.
I have tried kanger t3's and the protank but just cannot get on with bcc's. I am currently using an ego 900mah batteries with an evod, but struggle with the evod ( it allways tastes burnt, and vape is too cool)
thankyou so much for all your help, you seem a really friendly bunch!!

Hello Donna! What pg/vg ratio are you using? Higher vg will, sometimes, now allow the eliquid to get to the coil quick enough. If that's the case, you could remove one of the flavor wicks.

Congrats on a very wise purchase (IMHO) and WELCOME to ECF! I LOVE my MVP2's. I bought before the blingy "shine" editions were released, so I didn't get a pretty one, but the iclear30S is VERY nice. I used to be all about the BCC, but never could get over the leaking out the bottom and cool vape plus burning (seriously, HOW can it be both too cool AND burn at the same time, lol). Some of us have figured those out, I however, have no patience. IClears (16 and 30s alike--both nice) solved all those issues, so Innokin brand it is!

Hope to see you around the forums, do share pics of your new pretty when it arrives (there's a "Ladies, show us your pretty..." thread somewhere to show off your new baby, should you like). And try (I know I have to) not to look like a "mad woman" stalking the postman, lol!

Hi I am using either 50/50 or 100%pg. I also have a heavier vg ratio juice. I have read loads on here about removing the top flavour wicks so I think I will have a go. Thanks so much for your help

Hello!

I love it on ECF when somebody from the UK has not fallen for the plastic stick scams that are ruining e-cigs in this country.

I have an MVP, it's terrific. My everyday go-to device is actually my SID.

All those clearos are good with me, I have a stock of various one. The 30S is one of my favourites. Interesting you ordered Vivi Novas, I've been gradually giving all mine away over the last year or so.
I am going to pick up another mini one though (a brand new one, from Vape Escape no doubt) as they are easy to rebuild and I've got 50 ready-made wick/wires on the way from fasttech. Going to try this as an experiment.

Whoa...do you have your Nautilus loaded up with Pluid? I've got a PTmini2 loaded up with it and just keep topping it off, that's a serious vape you have going there my friend!

Yes sir I do. I LOVE PLUID lol. My AR is filled with Bowdens Mate atm. Waiting for some of my other juices to steep

Thanks, that green ejuice looks toxic lol. I have to say your set up looks pretty neat, can't wait to get mine

I'm so happy you got the MVP2.. It was recommended to me at first and I didn't like its box shape. After I wasted a lot of money on devices that are now paperweights I got the MVP2.. I wish I just would have started off with the MVP2 and saved a lot of money lol. I use nothing but my AR, MVP2, and Nemesis clone. The green juice is Mad Murdock's Radiator Pluid. If you love black jelly beans as much as I do.. This juice is for you. It's my most favorite.

Hi there
Alas, I fell for the sky cig (only for a week though ). Didn't take me long to realise 30 pounds for cartridges in one week was a complete rip, and totally unsustainable.
Moved on very quickly to an ego and various cartomisers and haven't looked back.
I don't know why I ordered the vivi novas, they just appeal to me lol.
Really looking forward to my new kit, and I know I will keep buying new things as I go along. I have totally fell in love with vaping !!
Thanks again
Donna

See I have the SID too. I never use it after I got the MVP2. It just sits on my desk. A good device but I just don't use it anymore. I'm completely into rebuuildables now and the MVP2 I can test my sub ohm coils on whereas the SID saws "Low Load" I think. I do have a KFL on my SID right now but it's just sitting on my desk.

I think I will definitely look into a nemesis clone when I advance and get more confidence. The juice sounds divine, another one for my list!
Thanks again, glad I have made a good choice.

When you get into rebuildables there is a lot to think about. What exactly are you trying to get out of it.. You have to know how to wrap your own coils.. You have to know Ohm's law and battery safety when dealing with mech mods and RDA/RBA. You need a device (which you have MVP2) that you can check the resistance of your coils. It's truly a hobby now. Anyways, a MVP2 is a GREAT place to start. You can fiddle around with VV/VW and I suggest VW. Set it to 6-8 watts and vape away. The difference is basically with VV.. Your battery at max is 4.2 volts. Your coil is probaby 1.8-2.0. A good rule of thumb when running voltage(VV) on your MVP2 is adding 2 to whatever your coil is. IE if your coil is 1.8(+2) 3.8 volts. The great thing about VW(variable wattage) is you set it to 8 watts and it figures out what voltage you need to attain 8 watts and adjusts accordingly off the power of the battery. With mech mods there is no circuit and its not "dummy" proof per say. There is a lot to learn about mech mods before you go down that road but you made a great purchase in the MVP2. As you can see, I'm very into rebuildables and mech mods but still use my MVP2 daily. The battery lasts for like 3 days and I'm always vaping it. Need I say more? Three days without charging lol. Play around with the VV/VW and find what works for you. Like I said, I do prefer Variable Wattage over Voltage. Most people's sweet spot is 6-8 watts. Start at 6 watts and work your way up if needed. Also, keep in mind, your juice will be a factor. Whatever ratio your juice is affects your coils. High VG juices are thicker. I personally use 50VG/50PG or 70VG/30PG. VG produces more vapor less flavor, PG is more flavor and throat hit. Some people, like me and my gf, have a reaction to PG where we get sore throats from it. That's why I use mosty VG and she uses 100% VG juices. Stuff to think about and dabble in. Anything that keeps you off the stinkies is great!

Thanks for the info, really looking forward to using the MVP. I think my clearomiser a are about 2.4, so am I looking at about 4-5 volts? The ejuice I have just ordered is high on the VG as I tend to get a lumpy feeling on my throat on higher PG juices. I ordered mothers milk to try, I think that has a high VG content.
Thanks for all your advice. You have really helped.

I have mothers milk myself. Doesn't taste the same to me as it first did which I'm not happy about lol. If the resistance of your coil is 2.4 then don't run your device over 4.4 volts if you go the VV route. Still look into VW tho.

Will do,I have been reading some threads and VW seems the best route to go
