Ok, well anyways, very impressed with angelcigs and the ivogo kayfun mini I ordered last sunday and arrived four days later on thursday. The machining and all the threading except for the lower chimney is perfect. Threads from the base to lower chimney are a little crunchy, but no big deal.

It's a little weird seeing air bubbles coming out from three holes, not sure why it needed that extra hole and it seems like these bubbles just keep coming out even though it's not leaking or flooding or gurgling at all.

So far, every time I fill it, the chamber floods and juice has to be blown out. Then I usually have a couple vapes and it never leaks a drop after that. No idea why this happens, I'm top filling (don't want to mess with the fill valve), with my finger over the air hole (even tried covering all three holes wrapping my hand around it). Then when I screw on the top cap just enough to catch the threads and tip over, juice immediately comes out the drip tip (no chance for the air bubble to make it's way up to the channels, so I can finish screwing on the top cap.

Basically, it's like, as soon as I put some juice in there, it immediately flows into the chamber...

I tried your link and didn't see a picture of the build deck so I have to guess at an answer. The fill hole. The mini has a bottom fill design, L shaped, vertical from deck, horizontal from base, spring loaded ball against hole design. Doesn't work well, the manual for the original even recommends top filling. On the Tobeco version some people have issues with it leaking even if never used.

When I top fill I get exactly the same chamber flooding leaking issue. Just turn it upside down and blow out to clear the chamber then absolutely no leaking from then on.

I saw this post just before refilling/rewicking and this seems to have done the trick. I always had some gurgling and a slow leak (outside near the base always felt oily). Those problems are gone now and it's vaping better than ever. Thanks for the tip!

It's a bit tricky filling these little guys, but I have had good luck with the Ivogo/Angel Cigs version. I top fill it, and I just fill it almost to the top of the chimney, and screw the top on without the Drip tip attached. As soon as the threads catch, I flip it upside down with my finger covering the top, and screw it in. Leave it upside down until you see the air bubble rise, then turn it back over. It takes a few times to get it right, but once you get it down, it works great. Such a cute little bugger, and a decent vape. Great for something like a twist or itaste v3 battery... I am looking for one of those u bases for ego batteries (they just posted them on FastTech), so I can make a nice little stealth vape. Has anyone seen these things? I know they make them for the Vamo as well...

Yeah - $5.80 at https://www.fasttech.com/p/1650600. Might take you a while to get one though, there's a backlog.

-Sorry, about that, I wasn't actually trying to make a link, lol...

-Yeah, it's perfect after clearing, I am hoping there is a way to fill without having to blow juice out.

This is what should happen. What I don't exactly understand is why when I turn it over, juice is coming out the top cap after only one second...

Well I thought I was sure, but this will be the next thing I try at next fill. I was also thinking about moving my wick tails over the top of the channel, just to see if it helps block the flow and maybe with that "extra hole" to let air out, it would be ok to completely cover it, maybe even pack it in a little.

Another funny thing, is watching air collect at the top of the plastic tank/bottom of the metal tank, before the juice manages to push it's way down. One minute, it'll look almost empty, then suddenly it looks full again, lol...

Also considering breaking off a toothpick in the "extra hole", just to see if it changes anything...

The "extra hole" is where the juice enters the tank if you fill using the fill port/valve I'm pretty sure. Not an extra air hole.

I just got the angel cigs one as a gift today, only top filled twice, and I'm getting the same leaking and gurgling you are all getting. Only lasts for the first little bit though. I assumed it was due to me over filling it. I'm gonna try to put less juice in next time and see what happens.

Fill it while looking at that hole, you will see the liquid enter the tank from there

Lol, I must've missed your post earlier, feel kinda stupid now, of course, that makes perfect sense. I tried filling that way with both the provided bottle and a small blunt syringe, but no juice came through at all, so maybe mine's faulty, no big deal though, I don't plan on filling that way anyway. Wish I knew why air bubbles were coming out that hole while vaping though, I thought they should only be coming out the channels. I broke off a tooth pick in there, just to see if it would change anything.

I also moved the plastic tank to the middle. Now air and juice flow much more quickly than before. I also tried putting some extra cotton in around the wick tail/top of channel and filled again. It prevented juice from entering the chamber while filling, but of course, it didn't wick very well at all that way.

So, after draining and removing the extra cotton, I tried filling it again and had to once again blow out some juice before vaping. Maybe someday, I'll have the technique down perfect, but until then, at least it's easy enough to clear out the excess juice and this thing vapes really nice all the way till empty.

I got "restocked" as well. Cancelled the order and went with a Taifun GS that already shipped. Anyone have one of those?

I would trade both of my kayfun mini's for one taifun gs. Next to my Aqua's, it's my favorite rta. I use the ss mesh for feeders. Just Don't roll them too tight when you set them. Once you find that sweet spot you'll know what i'm talking about.
