Hey guys im looking for anyone that is using the EHPro clone of the kayfun lite or lite+. ive seen the reviewing of the kayfun and the russian 91% by Phil Busardo but looking for something closer to my price range for right now. :D

my basic questions on the clones are
how is the build quality
vapour production
flavour of e liquid used (love flavour
current builds (ohms kanthal/nichrome gauge cotton silica or ss)

not really looking for sub ohm builds or anything wild just a simple man with simple tastes. me likes me flavour and me likes me vapour.

thanks guys any and all input will be appreciated

EHPro is one of the highest recommended kayfun clones on the market. I have a kayfun 3.1 clone and a Russian 91% clone (not ehpro).

The build quality on both is actually very good. Nice deck size's, threads needed a bit of cleaning but are buttery smooth now.

Vapour production is about 7/10. It really depends on the build you make and the juice you use though.

Flavor 9/10. Few things give better flavor than a kayfun... Fogger v4 is a contender.

A lot of builds for the kayfun. Most people will recommend using 28 gauge kanthal wrapped 7-8 times around a 5/64th drill bit. Should come out to about 1.2-1.4 ohms.

I actually just got one in the mail yesterday (EHPro KFL+ V2). My first impressions:

- All of the metal pieces smelled strongly of machine oil. I tried boiling, but that didn't really do anything (and why should it, petroleum oil doesn't dissolve in water). I ended up fully disassembling it and wiping it down with iso alcohol, then thoroughly rinsed with hot water. Seems clean now.

- Juice channels seem a bit shallow, at least half as deep as my $14 KFL from FT. This doesn't seem to matter much as it generally seems to keep up in terms of wicking, and I can see bubbles rise with every hit. At this point it seems like it is impossible to flood though, which seemed quite easy with the cheaper clone. That and dry hits, depending on how I wicked it. The EHPro sort of gets dry hits every so often, but I feel I haven't fully mastered wicking it yet. The wick area is a little wider than I am used to. A quick primer puff re-saturates the wick quite reliably.

- She whistles quietly. Its enough to be annoying in a quiet room. I went through it thoroughly looking for burrs and trying to soften some of the sharp edges in the airflow path, yet the improvement was only marginal. I think this may be because the airflow adjustment hole is threaded all the way into the main air channel, so the exposed threads are causing the whistle. I have inserted a small tube of SS mesh to quiet it down, but it does restrict the airflow a bit. Not sure how I am going to permanently fix this without screwing up the airflow adjustment, and yes the center pin is aligned correctly.

- The build: I use organic cotton ball and 5 or 6 wraps of 28 gauge on a 3/32" bit for about 0.9 - 1.2 ohms. Flavor is great, vapor is not bad. Just as a Kayfun should be.

- Other stuff: build quality seems nice on everything, except the threads are a little crunchy. The mouthpiece is awesome and I like the full size M-tank. The screw heads are flat on the bottom, making capturing wire super easy ($14 KFL sucked in this regard). One small gripe with the full M-tank is that it seems a touch undersized, it really squeezes the o-rings and they tend to bunch up when unscrewing even though they are lubricated with juice. Perhaps the o-rings are a little oversized, either way it is tight and I foresee damage to the o-rings over time, but it does come with extras in case this happens.

- Overall, I am happy with it. The whistling seems rare with this one, but mine does it and that is the only big downside at this time.

I have 5 of them, and the build quality has been great on each of them.

Vapor production when you talk about a Kayfun is different than when you talk about a dripper. Don't expect fog banks, the Kayfun isn't going to deliver on that account. That said, you do get very good vapor.

Flavor is fantastic once you hone in on your wick and coil setup.

I use 1.2Ω-1.7Ω 28g kanthal builds (simple single coil) with organic cotton.

Watch this video and follow it exactly. It's a very easy, yet very effective build.

I love my EH pro clone. I have the kayfun nano kit with a dual coil setup running .6 ohms. The flavor is fantastic with really warm vapor. Only problem I have ran into is a whistling noise from the air hole that I still have not fixed. The build quality is good but I have had some problems with the plastic threads on the tank. (might be my fault from the first day I got it and over tightened)

I have 4 kfl+ v2's (101Vape), I wrap a 30 ga A1-kanthral,1.7 ohm coil on all of em, the flavor is great and so is the vapor production. The build quaility is very good. Have not had a single issue with any of em.

I also have one I got from 101 vape but it is by Tobeco not EHpro and to be honest though it is good it isn't the quality of the 3 EHpro's I have. I also have a HCigar and the 4 channel type off of ebay with all working well. Now to be honest once I got the amount of cotton and where it goes on the 4 channel one it is close. I'm planning on taking it air hole out to 2mm eventually but still works great also.

I got my first one from 101 vapes and after a week ordered a second one from Fluid Vapes. It was 14 dollars cheaper at Fluid Vapes including shipping. Next month I plan to buy another one and the Nano Kit. I am a die hard carto tank fan and love that I can tighten the draw to match a cartomizer and not have to buy all those cartomizers every month anymore. Well worth it!

Thanks 10 fold guys been wary of buying a clone due to my CE4 el-cheapo experience and the fogger v2 i have now (time consuming). been looking for my own version of a "fully saturated vape". the fogger and my pt2 are almost there but still missing alittle something. thanks a bunch and if anyone else still has some comments on the EHpro clone please feel free to chime in

Look around on eBay.

EHPro is selling ready-made KFL+ v2 nano sets. It comes with a nano m-tank (but no other tank options), and can be had for less than $35.

Thanks guys one of the guys that works at my local vape shop had several for sale better priced than the $108 russian 91% black finished they had for retail. Cleaned her up, did up a build and the flavour and the vapour is amazing. i went with the 3.1 clone he had satin finish, 3.1 for adjustable airflow. running a 2mm inside diameter coil 28 gauge kanthal A1 at 1.2 ohms. hitting almost 17 watts from my mvp v2 at 4.4 volts. may have to get a 20 watt device one day to see how far i can push but for right now very very happy.:D:toast:

I have an original KFL+ and a black EHPro KFL+ clone. They appear to be nearly identical, and they both perform about the same.

The one thing that stands out about the EHPro though is that the threads on ALL the parts are not nearly as smooth. This makes dissasembly and reassembly a little tougher. The metal parts don't spin together as easily as the original--you really have to crank on them to get them tight. And you have to be REALLY careful threading in the plastic center tank section, because the threads aren't as smooth as the original.

All this said, it seems to perform every bit as well as the original, and once it's all put together it looks great. No leaks (on either one), the draw is identical, and they both DO have smooth 510 threads.

I think that with time and use, the threads on the EHPro will smooth out. And the next time I take it apart to clean and rebuild it, I'll put some polishing compound or jeweler's rouge in the threads and work them to smooth them up a little...
