oh I love this website every question I have is answered very quickly by people that know what they're talking about.

anyways I have a question is there any difference between the brands of kanthal wire. I've been doing this for a while so obviously I know the difference between the gauges. but there are so many different brands you can buy on eBay I don't know if I'm going to buy one and it's going to be cheap crappy wire that burns up real bad or if it's all the same. and I've noticed when you first spin a new coil and fire it it smells like burnt hair is that normal.
