Can't wait to try just the TopFill tank when its available. As far as the mod, NO firmware upgrade, NO TCR manual input, NO THANKS! Besides the DNA200's, the Evic Mini with 3.0 firmware rules the inexpensive mod category IMO. Kanger makes some rock solid tanks, but didn't get the memo that us educated vapors want to extend the relatively short product life of our purchases with upgradable firmware, and I doubt this new one does.
I just noticed that the brochure above says that it supports TC for Kanthal and Nichrome. It also says Kanger Universal-TC Technology. Is that a misprint? I thought that the Temperature Coefficient of Resistance was much too low on Kanthal and Nichrome for accurate Temperature Control. Is it possible Kanger developed something to make this work?

Checked one out in person today, new version of rba plus. Smaller juice holes on side but larger deck to build on
I just got the Toptank only at My Vapor Store for $29.99. It came today. So far it is a awesome little tank for MTL and Direct Lung. Same great flavor as the original subtank. I haven't used the RBA yet but thus far really enjoying this tank

It seems like many top fill tanks leak after refilling. I am curious if this one will too.
I have refilled it 3 times so far with no leaks. Works like the Mutank. Right now I think I am set on Tanks with this, the Mutank and Aromamizer.
Read some reviews that state there were no extra o-rings or glass tube.

That is true. All the kits appear to be this way even from Kanger
I am pretty sure that the original subox mini came with o-rings but no extra glass. I don't remember for sure though.
Thanks! I hope when the sell this next version it's labeled as V3, and I'll give it a try. Just ordered a red and black version. Bummer to find out glass tank is SHORTER then previous model, as I have a bunch of colored glass. Hope Kanger offers those at some point, they were only $4 a pop.
Does it only take the new ssocc or will the old style stuff fit? And is the older stuff compatible with the new toptank rba?
Don't have mine yet, but I have read on multiple sites that it works with the older coils, but the old square ones displace more juice then the new round ones.
@Mactavish , (or others here)do you have the regular subtank mini to check the reverse compatibility of the parts on the toptank ( i know about the glass, i would like to know if the seals,rba, and airflow base are swapable.) since spare parts are important.
I picked up a RED version of the tank yesterday and currently have it in use.
The fire engine red tank (with black drip tip) looks good on top of my same color VTC mini. (almost perfect diameter for it to) I'll have to run a few fills through it before deciding if it has a place in my tank/mod rotation.
- the top fill is kinda like a few others where the entire top screws off - two Orings seal the top
- the RBAv2 is similar to the RBA+ but with much smaller juice holes
- my fleet of STM's are kinda out of the rotation so I was a bit disliking the lack of air flow wide open (spoiled for sure by TFV4's)

according to discussions on fasttech it can do tc on nichrome but not kanthal.
I'm going to definitely get misself some nichrome.
