I just ran into this online and it sounds like potential. It's basically their version of an AIO, but it has a removable 18650 and holds 4 mils and is for MTL.

It checks off all my boxes if the draw is tight enough...and the coils are good. I haven't tried those CLOCC ones yet. Anyone have any experience with them compared to the AIO coils?

Sounds like this should be out in a few weeks. I just really hope this is a serious offering, and not just a thrown together kit, made up from other Kanger parts.

quite interesting.. 4ml.. will be looking around youtube to see if anyone puts up a review

Right after I posted this, I saw that MVS had them in stock. So I have one that should ship tomorrow, and will hopefully have it before the weekend. I'll be sure to give my two cents as soon as I get it. Might want to hold out...I have a bad feeling since this one just sort of crept out like this with little fanfare; but my curiosity got the better of me.

Something seems odd, though. Those CLOCC coils seem to come in either Ni 0.15 ohm or SS 0.5 ohm. The mod doesn't look like it has any VW/TC options to adjust on it. I might be wrong on that, but all they mention is simple single button control. Maybe it "self regulates" or only runs in TC mode automatically, but without user temp selection (I'd hate to think they're selling a nickel coil for a non-temp control device).

If it came with a simple 1 or more ohm coil, I'd think it could be fine for MTL. But a non-adjustable subohm setup, especially with a Ni coil without TC seems less than a great idea for a beginner product (or any TBH).

I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on the CLOCC coils. I was pretty disappointed with the performance of the CL Tank. Not as good as the Cubis.

Can anyone confirm that the AIO and the Cubis use the same coils? I've seen Cubis coils at 0.5 ohm, and I've seen AIO coils 0.6 ohm. I thought the coils would be the same.

Yes, the AIO can use Cubis coils. However, the AIO is listed as specifically not being compatible with Ni TC coils or their 0.25 ohm notch coils.

I got it today....eh, nothing to see here. It's fine, and does the job. It actually comes with a 1.0 coil and it does MTL pretty well, but not nearly tight enough for me (and it's not adjustable.) And it's pretty dang large- especially compared to the AIO.

Overall, I'm not sure who this is for. I guess if someone wanted a very dedicated open air mouth to lung experience and didn't mind the size, it does the job. But I feel like there are better options. For instance- I get far better flavor and a tighter draw on my Protank 4 closed almost all the way. So that on a pico sort of blows this away. Better tank, same juice capacity, and 18650 with the Pico, with full adjustments.

So I guess price is the pitch? But yeah, false alarm everyone.

As a real MTL tootler, thanks for the followup. It would have been nice to have a simple MTL like that, but such is life. On the home front. I finally got around to ordering my Pico. Decided to go with a Triton mini, and also ordered a Kabuki clone from FT. At the wattage I'm typically at is ~8W on a 1.8 Nautilus BVC v2 coil, I figure the Pico and Triton will work nicely for me. And the good part is sharing coils between my Plato, the Triton mini, and the Kabuki (with the replacement base if I want to use the Triton coils too). Now for a nice RTA and I should be set (OK yes, another mod for the collection does seem warranted as my backups are only some eGo type vape pens with clearos).

This compulsive buying of vape gear never ends.......(no comments about Deeming regulations now, I know what's coming, I just refuse to accept it. I'll buy nic solution for DIY on a dingy street corner if I have to).

as I thought, ego aio would be better plus it costs less with a internal battery.

I bought me smokjoy air 50 and nautilius x tank on it.. but like with everything from china it takes forver to come.. will be interesting to see how those 2 look together.

all this cool stuff coming out.. stuggling not to buy them all. lol.. that target mini is awesome.. been seeying it in my mind with that nautilus x tank on it.. but i must resist.. keeping this up i'll fill the house with mods.. I already have 2 innokin t18, 2 ego aio, coolfire iv plus and ego mega plus innokin clk 1280 with a gladius tank and im still starting at new stuff.. and it's only 3 months since i quit smoking and started vaping.. guess this is my new hobby.

Yeah, this next couple months is gonna be nuts with new stuff flooding the market before August. We really need to take it easy on just buying the next slightly new thing.

And Deepjazz, my advice (even thought you didn't ask) if I had to do it all over again- only buy overwhelmingly innovative things that are raved by everyone. And I mean everyone; certain things you can just tell are universal must-get's. But most of this stuff rarely makes a difference to your quality of life as a vapor, and that makes up 95% of what's out there. The search for perfection will always come out disappointing.

I say this as someone with probably thousands of dollars of garbage that I used once and never will again. It sounds like you have some great stuff already; just enjoy it as much as you can, and learn from other's mistakes :)

I guess this is kangertech's idea for a MTL beginner device that takes separate batts, as opposed to their Endura 18 and Endura 22 kits. (which in terms of size, would be more to my likiing, as is the Joyetech AIO).

It's always a compromise, either separate batts and too large, or internal batt but smaller vape device.
