Kanger Dripbox 160 TC

I have to say I am loving the DB160! Just put this build in my Tobeco Velocity V2, parallel 32 gauge vertabraid and 26/32 Clapton.

I've had my DripBox 160 for almost a week and gotta say, I'm loving this thing. I got it from EFun Top and got it in 8 days, pretty good going from China to Texas. The mod is very nice, very solid feeling and despite it's size is comfortable to hold. I love the feel of the RX200, so this is a good fit. The buttons feel nice and clicky, menu system is nice and simple and I like the battery door. I really haven't tried TC, but I rarely use TC for RDAs. I haven't tried the "improved" rda with it, I've been using a Velocity v2 clone and it works beautifully, no connection issues whatsoever. I really gotta thank Kanger with bringing out some squonkers. A regulated, dual 18650 squonker is something I've really wanted, now they just need to adapt the original Dripbox and make a regulated single 18650 version.

I have both Kanger Dripboxes, both in white. I dubbed my original Dripbox, "SquonkTrooper" and I have named my new Dripbox 160 "SquonkTrooper 2, Revenge of the Squonk"

The 510 pin is too short, It doesn´t get contact with my Kanger Dripbox 160
The 510 connector of the mod is not spring loaded... what can I do ? I want to use the hollow pin
for squonking with the dripbox... The Tsunami 24 works perfect on the Dripbox...
But I´d like tu use the Velocity the same way...
If there is no way to fix that, is there another Dripper with hollowed pin for my Dripbox? something like the Velocity V2 ? For me its more important the taste but I want to have lots of airflow...

I had to slightly raise the pin on my Dripbox 160 to make contact with the Tobeco Velocity v2. I used the smallest flat head micro screwdriver, placed the tip inside the 510 on the edge of the pin and basically gently wiggled all the way around with a slight upward motion. Be very careful not to put much pressure but it worked fine for me to get a connection.

Here is a Very Simple Fix that works Many Times.

Unscrew the 510 Pin from your Velocity and put a Small O-Ring like this on it.

I'm holding out that Kanger will release a Single 18650 VW DripBox before Aug 8th.

Have you seen the council of vapor Wraith squonker? Single 18650, 75 or 80 watt regulated. Looks pretty cool too.

No leaking or rattles. It is tight getting batteries in and out, but TBH I typically charge via USB and swap batteries about once a week.

I have not been using the TC so not sure on that front.

Sounds like a Nice Mod.

Like I said, I'm not sure how well I would like the Width of it? But I'm also not sure how much Narrower it could be made? What with a Bottle next to a Battery next to a Circuit Board.

My Velocity v2 clone works perfectly with both my Dripboxes. It's not a Tobeco, I got it from Fasttech , the one I got is white, but there are other colors.
