Kanger Aerotank users .. How many watts do you vape at with the factory dual coils?

For you folks that use a VW device for power, I was just wondering how many watts you are able to vape with using the factory 1.5, 1.8 or 2.0 ohm dual Kanger coils?

I have been experimenting and have found that about the nicest vape is accomplished with between only 9.5 and 10.5 watts.

Anything more than that, and the vape gets hot and can give a burnt taste.

I'm talking about the Kanger Protank 3, Aerotank Mega or the Aerotank Mini.

Not complaining ... it's a good vape, but you can't feed these coils very many watts.

I usually run about 6.5 to 7 on an istick, so who really knows?? But I don't often use the dual coils either, I normally use a single coil in an aerotank (it works fine at 5.5 to 6.5 watts).

I make my own coils for my Kayfun Lite.

However, I tried to make a single coil for the Kanger Aerotank. It just turned out to be a pain in the ...., so I just gave up on making them for the Kanger.

I find anywhere between 7-9 depending on the juice. Higher for sweet and lower for fruit.

For me it depends on what juice I run and what pg/vg level. I can run it anywhere from 7 to 11 watts.

Lol same here, On my DNA mods I run maybe 9 to 10 watts but my istick I gotta go so low so I don't get that nasty burnt taste.

I've been looking for 2ohm dual coils for my Aero Tank in hopes it will be better using it on istick. Where did you find the 2ohm?

8-9 watts seems to be the sweet spot for those coils.

I run my Mega tanks with 1.5 ohm dual coils on my MVP2 at 9.5 watts mostly. I have gone up/down with different juices and find little enough difference to bother changing from that. I may find reason to experiment or change as I am dropping my nic level from 18 to 6.
