Just ordered another Minifit, 2 packs of pods and some nichrome NR R NR 1.8 wire from fasttech ($30.00 shipped). Heck, I've paid that for 1 crap RTA, lol. Any FastTech customers have any idea how long my wait will be?
My average time with them is around 2 weeks. Had one order come a little quicker and another was over a month but I did not notice the item I ordered was not in stock when I ordered it. Other than that, between 10 to 14 days.

I've had a couple of orders ship to UK in about a week, and one or two took a little longer.
If you went with the default shipping option, possibly between 1 and 2 weeks.

Well I finally got around and syringing out my old 70VG ADV out of my Minifit today and filled with 50VG. Yes it is much better and no sign of a burnt hit yet. I am still using the same pod and my experience that building up to a burnt taste, you can recover nicely and the taste will quickly disappear if you stop fast enough to do any damage. Well that is my theory anyway.
Now over 2 weeks on 1st pod and it's holding up well. No wicking issues with high PG, though I think I'll raise the nicotine a little. It doesn't heat up too much if I don't chain vape - I'll leave that for tanks.

Glad it's working better for you! I am on refill #7 and it's still working fine. It's certainly not my ADV device but is really convenient for a change of flavors, quick trips out, etc... . Will probably use it more when my extra pods arrive.

Just received it. Filled it up with 12mg WTA, and throat hit is absolutely non existent. Don't get much flavor either. Airflow is a bit much but I can live with that. I'll plug and drill later. These things is obviously made for high nic salts, but I don't want to go there (at least for now).
Think i'll mix up some unflavoured with 18mg free base nic and see how that goes...

I took mine up to ~24mg and it's a bit sharper. Closing one of the holes might help too. I do like it and used it exclusively for a couple of days, though I'm sure I ended up puffing more than usual. 7W on my mtl tank hits harder, but it's probably unfair to compare.
Still, it's impressive for its size.
First time I tried this week was with 25mg nicsalt (my first nicsalt as well), flavor was "ok" but the throat hit was noticeable, actually surprised by the nicsalt and by the small minifit.
Not sure yet if I want to go along the way of nicsalts, its VERY tempting, afraid of having a new addiction.
Don't think i'd use it with my 12mg tobacco juices as I will always compare it to my kayfun.

I'm trying it this weekend. 2.0mm kanthal wire. Either 6 wraps 30 or 4 wraps 32.
Might be totally wrong, but that's my plan for now....

Still waiting on my second Minifit, pods and NR-R-Nr nichrome wire from Fastech. I have refilled my original pod at least ten times and have seen no difference in performance! If the Fastech wire works for recoiling (along with a fresh wick), it could make it even better.

I am going to build the coil for my mini fit box. As far as i checked online. It is originally 32 gauge wire made of Nicrom (n80), 1.6 ohm, 2 mm inner diameter, is all the information true? If i build the coil, i would like to ask the following question:
1/ What material should i use for the wire ? (kanthal or stainless steel). By this i mean which material is better in terms of building coils for a pod system.
2/ What is the gauge that i should use (32 or 30) and what is the difference)
3/ How many wraps should i make for 32 and 30 for it to work?
4/Can I use bacon cotton for the wick?
5/ Is it possible that the plastic could be melt because of the legs of the coil when it heats up?
If i was wrong about something, please correct me.

I never saw myself purchasing a pod system, but I ordered two of these. Should be here on Friday.
I've been a full time squonker the last 6 months and usually vape DL.
Of course when I started out, I was MTL, and occasionally, I go back to higher nic levels (my DL is 3mg) and a smaller (less cloudy) tank.
Heading out of town for a week next month, and instead of my usual Pico/STM with a 1.2ohm coil and 12mg nic, I've decided to give this a try. Figure I've got a few weeks to play with it to see if it can be an ADV for me while travelling.
Just don't feel like lugging a 240ml bottle of juice, cotton, building supplies, and wanted something smaller than my Pico. Plus, having this as a backup to my daily carry would save me having to lug a second large mod around. I don't leave the house without a backup.
Not sure what mg level of juice to start with. In my STM, I use 12mg at 1.2 ohm. That puts out a lot of vapor compared to this though I'm sure. I usually vape unflavored juice, so going to mix up some higher strength nic salts (also unflavored) and give it a shot.
Trying to decide whether to start at 24mg, 30mg, etc. I used a Kanger EVOD (cartomizer and battery) at 24mg years ago, figure this probably has a similar vape output to that. Guess I'm trying to see if I can make it through a day with one fill of the pod, and not having to recharge. Not a big deal if I can't get through the day without a refill/charge (thus buying two of them), but I figure I won't probably vape as often either if I push the nic level.
I've used salts before, but only at 3mg DL. Guess I'll start with 30mg 50:50 unflavored juice and see how it goes.
I'm actually pretty excited about this. Will be sweet if I can get by travelling with just two of these, a pair of backup pods, and a 30ml bottle of juice. Having to pack a large vape kit for a week long trip is getting kind of old. This certainly won't replace my squonk setups when I'm not travelling, but could be a nice backup device to pocket, and simple for travelling.
I also picked up a SMOK Novo. Not sure why, I told myself I would never purchase another SMOK product, lol. The minifit is the one I'm excited about. If they work well, I'll give the Novo to a friend that is trying to quit smoking.

Same here, except I still vape MTL and DTL. The same flavor usually taste differently between the two. But when Blu came out with MyBlu kits for a buck, I thought it would be worth a shot to play around with. And boy was I surprised by the quality of vape they produce. Far better than the eGo stuff I started with years ago.
Yes these are very small and very pocket friendly. And I've been buying a few different models of theses (including Minifit). And juice? I use 1/5th the juice than I did with my RTAs and RDAs. So carrying around 30ml worth of juice might be enough for 8 to 10 days worth. So you might only change that idea to something like no more than 10ml later on.

I've tried many times to quit smoking & I feel like here I go again.
I tried the My Blue & thought hell if Nic Salts are even better maybe I'm missing something in then, I realize I'm not, but the flavor us not bad, I imagine a decent liquid helps this idea over commercial stock.
I don't want to buy a JUul, obviously there's a smear campain on them & I just think:
I gave up last time 6 weeks into vaping only, felt like a pshch break to me , I reasoned with myself & decided I can live today...or die for another day because I'm not smoking, either way I started back.
These nic salts in a high ohm coil with high Nic, no need in hiding it.
I started YEARS ago with a tornado/ego.....worked for a bit.
