It's really good!...But something is missing. I just can't describe it. I feel like it has to do with the airflow. This is purely personal. I don't think it applies to most people. I can see a lot of people absolutely loving this rda. It's got a buttload of airflow options, deep juice well, and it's incredibly easy to build on. But with that said, I have to point out some little cons...

1. If you're like me, you like to take off you're whole top cap to paint your coils. It's very annoying with this rda because you have to line up that little notch each time you put your top cap on.
2. Horizontal parallel coils don't work out very well. I've become a huge fanboy of zipper coils. I love them, i haven't experienced better flavor from any other coil and since they are parallel coils and the posts have screws that screw in horizontally, they kind of mess up the coils to an extent.
3. This is totally personal, but the drip tip is waayy too wide for me. And 510 drip tips i have mostly look kind of janky on it. I have one that's passable, but i would prefer a wide bore that's not that ridiculously wide.

All that said, it's an awesome rda, just not for me. Extremely versatile, in every way. Great flavor, but in my opinion not really significantly better than any other rda. I don't want to discourage anybody from purchasing this rda, this is just my experience, yours will be different. Anyways, happy father's day ya'll!

To answer your questions Dave - all the construction is completely fine, posts and screws are fine, it is a tobeco clone and its very well made imo. & kaanatila, no you can pretty much only run dual coils unless you do it like a Petri build, all the air holes synchronize when you are adjusting them.
Yes you can drip through the drip tip, and cotton often pools in the middle of the rda, but since you have to build the coils a little higher, it often doesn't wick very efficiently when dripping through the drip tip

I just got my Tobeco Velocity clone... LOVE IT! The perfect rda. I can't imagine the original being much better than this. Tobeco has really stepped up their game. Some of my early Tobeco clones were pretty janky, but this thing is flawless. Perfect machining with no flaws, all of the threads are buttery smooth. The afc is super smooth and holds its adjustment excellently. I love the 2 post design. It's super easy to build on, no clipping of wires when tightening. I got the black version, and was worried about the finish being cheap, but it looks like a top notch anodized finish, with the brushed texture. Color me impressed. Flavor is awesome, and if you want it, it billows clouds. This is the best designed airflow control I have ever seen. You can do very fine tuning on the flow since the elongated holes open with the threading up of the top cap. And the notched part on the cap makes lining up the top cap to the coils very easy, and also holds everything in place so nothing spins as you try to adjust the airflow or screw off the atomizer from your device. Easily the best $20 I have spent in vaping. Even better than my Tobeco Derringer, which I thought I would never top.

A+++

Was really excited to get mine, and kinda had a "meh" thing going on after about an hour into it. The airflow is really weird, having a hard time adjusting it right. I think it may be a case of TOO many options. My biggest problem however is what I thought I would like the most, the two post design. Wicking it has become a problem. There is a large hole, as it were, when building horizontals. There is nothing catching my juice before it hits the bottom of the deck. I kinda fixed this by building a quad and using an "s" wick draped down the middle. But now I must take off the cap when dripping to get the bottom coils wet. Ya ya, first world problems, but I really hate taking my caps off to drip.

Just let the wick ends hang into the drip well, and drip away. The juice will find its way up the wicks and to the coil. Mine's been wicking and vaping perfectly.

I love my Tobeco Velocity too. I also have the same problem with adjusting the airflow, when I get it right, it hits like a freight train! I'm glad to know I'm not the only one that thinks it's a bit funky.
I also have mine wicked with the cotton hanging down just enough to make good contact with the deck, not much more.
My screws aren't the best and I'm thinking of getting another one. Perhaps the full size instead of the mini.
I also like to take my cap off and paint the coils. :)
