so I have this juice I bought back about a month ago called I <3 donuts and since the nic level is too strong for me I haven't vaped it since. left it inside my closet and it tastes fricken horrible.

I have a few other juices back when I bought this one at 6mg that I wanted to get rid of in when I buy my DIY things so I can dilute it but was wondering if they will taste like soap regardless if I dilute it or not?

2 of them are VG based 99% I believe and one is 50/50. I know 2 of them tastes like soap wondering if it's just a good idea to throw them away or can I salvage them. the liquid in the donut juice was pink now it is a dark brown. these juices were kept in my dark closet.

VG is used is many soaps, hence the soapy taste.

Dessert flavors tend to take longer to steep.

I've found higher VG blends take longer to steep.

Give them another month, periodically giving them a good shake. That should give them enough time to blend and reduce the soapy flavor.

As for getting darker... nicotine oxides when exposed to air, even in a dark closet.

so if i dilute them in more vg will it be salvagable without steeping? or would it still have that soapy taste until it steeps longer? what if i diluted with PG would the soapy taste just be more in your face at that point as well if not steeped longer.

You can add vg to dilute if you must but it will mute the flavor the more you add, if your vg taste like soap you need to trash it and find a different vendor, vg should have a tiny bit of a sweet taste to it.
I have never had juice that needed 2 months to steep and then it tasted better, if it taste bad after 4 weeks that's not good ............

The general rule is get it remixed to how you want it Then do some more steeping. You have a New mixture that needs to mix.

Some fruits have an alcohol or soapy smell/taste that may go away if left to air out a couple days. (Spouts of drip bottles removed)

I had some ITCV SL v2, extra flavor (strawberry) that was VILE with the soapy taste. I would have bet hard cash it was forever unvapable. At about 2 weeks the soap went totally away and it was a decent juice. I was shocked.

pretty sure I have vaped it before no issues at all and this set up I just dry fired a day ago. you can literally smell the soap just when you open the bottles. I think it is actually only 1 flavor the donut one the others seem to be fine for the most part except the passion fruit one which is starting to taste soapy as well. I'm running a goblin mini rta and a mutation xs rda same results on both using rayon and duel coil 0.5 ohms

Steeping is letting the ingredients "meld". I take the lids/spouts off for 24 hours (shaking often) and let the oxygen escape. Then, the lids go on and they go in a drawer as a group that I purchased all at the same time. I buy about every 2-3 weeks so I have three groups steeping at once. I just work from the group that has been steeping the longest.

I am usually vaping juices that are 4-7 weeks steeping in a dark spot. I don't think you can over steep. But, some juices just taste lousy no matter what.

Picked up Envy from Seduce Juice. Straight up soap to my palate. I've not figured out a way of getting past it. If you find something that works, let me know.

probably needs to breath and steep longer. i would try breathing for 12 hours and then vape and if still soapy steep it longer. the juice i have that was soap i vaped earlier this week it wasn't bad. throat hit was too strong still of course but other then that i mean it wasn't soapy at all.
