yep
I've gotten in the habit of vaping all my clearos (top coils) without any silicone/rubber seal on top of the cup, and a carto mouthpiece instead of a drip tip
fluxos: never leak on me, but this way I get no condensation and warmer vape
iturbos/stardusts: never leak on me only when I do it this way, no condensation
visions: never leak on me only when I do it this way, no condensation
The only down side is, this isn't a pocket friendly system, and you have to make sure you don't go above horizontal.
In the case of the Stardusts especially I think the whole silicon seal/drip tip assembly is just too damn tight on the cup and wicks, which leads to juice trying to force its way through that tight space and this creates problems. With the stardust I can actually tell when its going to happen, because my drag suddenly starts to feel interrupted like there is something in the way, and then a few seconds later, voila, a drop flies down the center tube. Even without the drip tip and using the tophat/silicon, I get the same airfow interruptions, but no leaks.
Sorry to ramble, but my point to the OP was, if all else fails, just uncap it all. Tastes better, hotter, and no issues.
Just thought I'd share
EDIT: And I vape high VG, so this probably makes my set up more prone to thick stuff trying to squeeze through tight stuff and going boom boom
