I've had my eVic for about 10 months, and never really had an issue with it, but just noticed when I remove my tank from the head it reads charging or charge completed and it's not plugged in even if I turn it off it says charging or charge completed, until I put the tank back on, but still have to power it back on.

Was wondering if anyone else has or had this problem?

I like having a VV/VW mod as a backup and for driving but, I don't want to buy a replacement head for $70+ or buy a new one, I just bought a mechanical MOD recently and a bunch of other things for it.

I cleaned the contacts, pulled the battery out a few times, took the head off and held the button, and adjusted the pin, and reset the head to factory settings wiping out everything, setting my puff count back to 0, and I'm on version 1.4. Everything still works for now, it's just annoying, and I would like to fix it.

Update: I tried a different battery and battery tube for the eVic, followed the instructions from joytech's website on how to reset and re install firmware and charged the battery on a battery charger and left the eVic completely disassembled overnight with no change.
