Sleep mode is when the screen times out and turns off. Mine probably has an issue. It's definitely worse in tc mode than power mode.
I had the same problem with a defective SXmini Q class.
Yours might have a problem??? Mine does not delay at all.

One thing that bothers me with mine is Everytime I change the batteries I have to turn off the wireless.

Mine is still going strong and I love the hefty feel. I've been running various temp control builds on it and it handles them very well. Nice and smooth with Ti, 316ss and NiFe52 wire, as it should be.
I especially like how easy it is to change my tc tcr settings instead of having to remember which combination of buttons to press or log into my my computer (DNAs) to make changes.
I don't use any of the "fluffy" options like the pedometer, mp3 player, pics etc but as a straight up 150w TC mod it's a very solid performer.

Just noticed that when I switch TC modes eg from SS to Ti to Mem modes all of the settings ie Temp, Power, Res and lock are identical. They change in every mode to my last setting in any mode. For example if I swap from a .23 ohm SS topper to a .12 ohm Ti topper the mod doesn't remember my previous Ti TC mode settings. Anyone else notice this?

Hand check, everything works but it has a BIG problem. It is FAR to easy to accidentally unlock the device and unknowingly switch vaping modes. I'm vaping in Ti mode and have had it change to Ni without knowing it. Not fun.
They need to bury the vaping mode selection in the settings menu so that can't happen.
They also need to remove the swipe to unlock feature and require the user to press the same tiny icon to unlock the mod as was used to lock it.

I bought one to put in the vape stash. I will be saving it for when I start building my own coils. I am most interested in the TC. Which means I now have to buy the proper wire to put away. I only have kanthal in the stash. Which type of wire do you all find does not effect the taste? I really do not care about clouds. I care about the TC and the taste. I have never vaped in TC so if this is a dumb question sorry about that.

316 SS works well enough, easy to find and wind too. You can buy pre-wound coils or wind your own.

Thank you. I really needed another reason to buy more stuff for the stash. LOL Maybe I will have to try some pre wound SS coils and pull out one of my rebuildables just to test out the TC. And I need to buy some rayon for the stash anyway. The nauti worked great on it, but I couldn't test out TC with that.

Why move this??? This is a APV/Mod... Shouldn't it be in the APV/Mod discussion???

If I were to search for this Mod, it would be in the APV/Mod section...
It's still in the APV and Mods category, just moved from the VV/VW APV sub category to the TC sub category.

^ Yep :)

I just finished spending 5 hours total cleaning up the APV Discussion Forum of misplaced threads again.
I sure get to learn what's out there looking them up tho

Hey guys, i'm a new vaper myself, just switched to the joyetech ocular c from smoking pall mall blaks for around 14 years now, I dont quite know the nitty and gritty of vaping , i just went for the highest concentration of nicotine i could find in an e-luiquid , 18 was in the store, from what i've learned , i need a bigger resistance for higher nicotine levels , and a lower one for lower nicotine, is that right ?

The guy at the store set the mod on VW at 20W , using the nautilus e-liquid cartridge , as for the box mod itself , it's nice, looks and feels solid in the hand , didnt have any of the issues as auto firing or button getting stuck , i tend to press the button by accident when handling the mod , getting it out of the purse and stuff like that, im charging it with it's usb cable from the pc usb or the smart tv, not sure, can i use a telephone charger for this as well ? i have the charger from my samsung s6 , would that work as well ?

Also is there a way for us to customise our firmware as in building more functions for the touch screen ?
For example, if we keep uploading pics and music to it, how do we delete them as well off the mod's memory ? Didn't find that option anywhere yet. So is there a way to get in the root of the system ?

my ocular c doesnt turn on and it seems the problem is the battery lid... i got new batts but still not turning on, before i used to press hard the lid and it does turn on... help pls
I noticed mine acting funny a couple times when I replace my batteries. I removed them and put them back in and it worked. Something strange is going on but it only happened 2 or 3 times with mine. Not sure what it is yet???

Make sure all the battery contacts are clean and try it again.
