Joyetech eGo AIO Replacement coils suck

I bought one of these for my first unit and although I got 5 days each out of the 2 0.6 ohm coils it came with I am finding that I am getting less than 2 days out of the replacement I ordered when I bought the unit. I can say this for both the 0.6 ohm and 1.0 ohm coils. Either the liquid intake holes are to small or they are winding the cotton to tight and thick. It's a conspiracy if you ask me since the 2 it came with did last about 5 days each.

I was doing some reading and someone on another site mentioned more airflow will keep it cooler. Maybe the 1st 2 coils I didn't restrict the airflow like I was on the ones that burn out in less than 2 days. I will keep the airflow wide open and see what happens. I will say I am really glad however that I went to the local vape shop and bought a Smok QBox. I am hoping at the lower wattage (30W) setting I seem to like I will get hopefully 2 weeks or longer. I figure I will use more juice with it but I think I will stay around 2 tanks @ 2ml a tank.

I may order some .5s next time I place an online order. I also found I may have been tightening the top to tight squishing the rubber insulator at the bottom causes the holes to get closed off some. Hopefully its that because I can't see it being the air intake setting since these draw the air from the top. Hopefully that is all it is.

I've heard the .5s are better. Had an eGo AIO Box. First .6 lasted a day second lasted a few puffs. Got rid if it. And yes I do know how to prime a coil. Actually rebuilt one of those .6s with a horizontal coil. Was the best Vape I'd gotten outta that thing.

Do you know if the cubis RBA fits in the AIO?

I think I found what I have been doing differently that is causing me to go through coils so fast. The key I think is to take faster draws as apposed to slow long hits. When I first started I vaped like I smoked but watched a video on Youtube and the guy said long slow hits. I think faster draws causes you to suck in more liquid into the coil like a straw helping to replenish what you burn off vaping.

Bonskibon: I found a video on YouTube where he uses one with the AIO just keep in mind the diameter is a bit bigger so make sure you don't put to much liquid in although in the video he filled it to the line and was fine.

Going on 3 1/2 refills with the same coil so it looks like the mistake I was making was drawing to slow.

I'm not 1000% sure on the standard AIO but I've been told it does. But I'm 93.273% sure it doe NOT fit the ego AIO BOX.
That's what I heard somewhere I think, but don't remember where or if I read it right. Got some RBAs for my Cubis tanks, but thought I'd ask about the AIO. :) Thank you.

Have you tried your RBAs in the Cubis? I just got mine from FT on Saturday. So now I've got the RBA for my Cubis that I have absolutely no interest in. Why did I do that?:confused:

Yeah, I'm pretty much in the same boat. I don't reach for my Cubis tanks anymore and have the RBAs for them as well as some stock coils. I'm just storing them in my stock pile. I liked them when they first came out and usually if I like something I get a couple along with stock coils and RBAs. I have since found my vaping sweet spot and it doesn't include a Cubis tank.
