I have had the joyetech e-com for a week now, this was my first e-cig, so I really don't have anything else to compare it with =) so for me I had to make it work, or I didn't get to vape.

I must say that in the last few days I have really come to like the ecom more and more as i figured out how to make it work properly for me, maybe it could help some of you guys out there who also have the e-com.

To clear the liquid from the atomizer
For the first 2 days I was vaping juice into my mouth, and to fix that I would blow lightly into the mouthpiece, and the excess liquid would be purged out from the side (Make sure you have a paper towel around the tank as you do this though, one time i had liquid flow down onto the battery, onto the fire button)
Then I would stuff a rolled up tip of a paper towel into the mouthpiece to clean the insides to get rid of the excess liquid already in the mouth piece. At this point I found that if i vaped, there would be some gurgling, but as long as I took soft draws, the liquid didnt get into my mouth, and eventually cleared up. When I was not in a particularly gentle mood, I would hold the fire button 5 seconds to vapourize the excess liquid without inhaling. This usually cleared up the atomizer and gave me a good vape for the rest of the tank.

Oh yes, I have found that the 4volt setting was a sweet spot, I read on the joyetech site that you need to set it above 3.7 and i found this to be true, but at 3.7, i found that towards the end of the day, probably when the battery charge starts to get lower, the gurgling comes back on.

Topping up of liquid
Then I found that I had to do this EVERYTIME I did a refill, which was annoying, if you own an ecom you would know that you need a bottle with some kind of nipple small enough to fill it. But I found that having a longer needle tip (like a syringe needle) that you could insert into the hole and actually see the needle through the window works best for me. I have yet to take the thing apart to find out why this is the case, but I know that this works best for me. I usually top up only up till where 80% of the clear window is covered, any more would give me gurgles, again, I do not yet know why this is the case.

I saw on the website that you need to finish this process in 1 minute or less, or you will get liquid in your mouth, I actually tested this out and found it to be true =) so, as I went along I made sure I only unscrewed the mouth piece when I have everything else ready to make the process zippy.

I am sure that many out there wouldn't have to deal with these with other systems, but since I think I have managed to figure it out, I have grown to love my ecom

Good morning. I have just purchased a Joyetech Ecom 1 day ago. After vaping for several hours throughout the day my ecom stopped working. I just thought that the battery had run out so i put it on charge. After leaving it for several hours and going back to it it is not working anymore. What is happening is that whenever i push down the button to vape the button blinks. I have tried everything switching it on or off, recharging, holding down the button but nothing is working. Whenever I hold the button down it just blinks and no vape. I am very confused as I have found NOBODY online that has had this exact problem so i do not know why it is blinking whenever I press down on the button. Has anybody experienced this? Can anyone help??

in my honest opinion it is too heavy i prefer my Custom Italian 883 VV same price, better circuit, better finishing, italy no china.... and i think that eleaf ismoka is modern and useful more than this. Inthe revision II this could be plastic made 2000mah with a display, will be more useful and papable, now is only still "cool"
