I have a Joye 510-T (tank)...and so far I love it.:vapor: I'm going strong for a month now. But there a few things I'm starting to notice and a few questions.

I have 2 510-T Automatic batteries (1 is a 280mah battery & 1 is a 220mah) and also have 2 regular 510 Manual batteries. Well as of right now the 280mah battery seems to be dead and will not charge...I'm not sure why it would be dead already?

I use both regular 510-T atty's & also LR 510-T atty's with both. Also I noticed that it seems like the regular 510 manual batteries don't work as well with the LR atty's...is it just me or is that a common problem? Although I can not tell the difference by looking at the LR atty's and the regular 510T atty's...I only notice the vaping change (that I'm having to pull/suck harder) once I put my 1st LR atty's in the rotation. So do LR atty's work better with automatic batteries? Is there a visual way to tell a LR atty apart from a regular 510-T atty?

Also I have a charger for both the automatic batteries because they are 510-T batteries and then a charger for the manual batteries because they are regular 510 batteries. Is there a universal charge for both types of batteries (the 510 and 510-T)? It would be nice just to have worry about having one charge on hand at a time.

If there are any Joye 510-T users out there what works best for your vaping experience as far as battery & atty couples? I'm sure I have more questions so if anyone using one of the Joye 510-T and can think of any other information that might be useful for a beginner that likes what she has started with please pass it along.

Thank you

Hi Dre,

Lots of questions, and I'll try to hit them all!

First, do not use an LR atty on any of these batts. LR attys/cartos are meant for batts with at least 400 mAh. You could damage the batt otherwise, as the current drain is too high for them. Might be the issue with the 280 mAh auto batt. Its too bad you got this atty with these batts. I would set it aside until you get a bigger batt. And it there are no other markings on it to tell from a regular atty, I have been known to take a knife and make a tiny cut into the side of it near the cart to be able to tell from looking at it. Not the greatest thing, but it works. For LRs I recommend an eGo or Riva batt...but you will need a different charger, or a 510 extension piece, as the regular 510 charger post will not be long enough to make contact.

Your 510 charger should be fine for any of your batts, auto or not...I think. Best to contact the vendor on this one. There have been issues in the past about other model batts needing different chargers if they are auto or manual, so best to check.

Your 280 mAh auto batt may well have gotten juice into it, through the center air hole. As convenient as auto batts are, this is an ongoing problem with them, and tanks can have a tendency to leak. I think with an auto you are better off with cartomizers. If you can get 2.4 ohm Boges, those will be just right on regular batts...and even 3.0 ohm cartos are not bad. That's the combo I actually prefer late at night when I do not want a very hot vape. Clearomizers or CE2 cartos, 3.2 ohms, would be excellent on a regular 510 batt or mega.

There is a new auto style PV, similar to a kr808d-1 that has batts that have a much smaller air hole, and supposely they are juice proof. The name escapes me at the moment.

I'm sure Don would know which one this is.
