Now I have enough cotton balls, yarn and such to last me 20 yrs
LOL I have a closet full of old wicking material to :)
The "fake Japanese cotton" has no taste at all. I know what you mean about the cotton taste and the Rayon to
I did not boil it or nothing and it's clean I never tried the real KGD but can't see how it could be any better IMO
it would be nice if some one who has tried both would post there opinion
only 3 left now

Gil, you're breaking my heart! :|

let me know if you ever change your mind.

No I don't want to do that. I tried all kinds of jigs and all but one I gave away. I can make the diameter 3/32 instead of 5/64 which is easier for me to wick. You know you can ask me for anything....I owe you. :)

I'm just teasing you. I know you've been giving your jigs away...you gave me your Artistic Gizmo (thank you very much!) you don't owe me....I just liked our connection. And if you ever get sick of coiling.....you know where to find me. Actually, being able to change just the wick instead of using a new coil every time is a good thing. I'm glad you found your "big boy pants." LOL

I decided to try some when it was IMPOSSIBLE to find KGD, so I bought some Shiseido.
And I. Love. It.

I like the "fresh wicked" taste so much that I rewick it at LEAST once a day. And the package is still a lifetime supply, so I doubt I'll even go buy KGD...

Also, when I got it, there was a free shipping thing from a department store and it worked out cheaper than anywhere else.
My wife was confuzzled when I got a package from the beauty department at Nordstrom (it was someplace like that).

LOL

I had a hard time with cotton (tried so many I can't even count) until I found KGD so I'm worried if it isn't the same. Never tried Shisedo but that's another ... cotton.

Ok thanks!

I was chasing KGD here in Germany and could only find ripoff offers from some vape stores.
The only justification for buying KGD was, "that 10 Sheets last for a Long time".

Reading your comment I realized, that my wife stores a carton with that name in the bath room.
Sure enough: While I was searching KGD, a pack of Japanese cotton was sitting there right before my nose...
LOL

Just to clear up my mind...my KGD is loose cotton and some of you have the pads soooooooooo does it make a difference?

I never heard of Koh Gen Do as loose cotton. What does it say on the package? Does it say Japanese? What color is it? Is it a little off whire....like unbleached?

I am not sure what you mean? If your's are cotton balls, then yes it would make a difference as compared to the pads because of improved capillary action of the pads. The pads are layered and the top and bottoms are constructed differently then the center. Usually you cut a strip off the width of you coil and pull off one side to get it to be the right thickness. You then make a point on one side and pull the strip through, and then cut the point off and cut the other side to the correct length. On my Kayfuns I cut them slightly longer then deck height, put them on the deck, and never get a dry hit even when chain vaping. My chain vaping is pretty extreme like I will hit it almost constantly for a over a minute at a time, only pausing to exhale.

I am still waiting on my REO:( It should be here this week:D

The operative variable is the "size 7" part. Size 7 font in these threads is this big.

Typically, we tend to use a size 2 in here, which looks like this: size 2 (unimpressive, no?)

muttered under your breath comments are especially effective in size 1, however.
