Istick 40 watt atomizer low

So my istick 40 was working fine the other day and just out of know where, its just read atomizer, i know its not the tank or coils as i have tried all of mine and i know its not going below the 0.15 ohm limt, anyone else had this probelm or a fix for it thank you.

Its also wont even read the ohms of the coil either :S

Have you tried screwing the tank off a little so there is a gap, does it work now ?

Or if that doesn't work the center pin might have gotten somewhat recessed, use some tweezers and pull up the center pin.

Did you drop it or flood it with e juice from leaks? This is my in bed mod with subtank mini for mouth to lung. Mine reads every tank I put on it. Check if the tank is the problem. maybe the 510 isn't reaching the spring pin when screwed down. Maybe the spring went out on it. It happened to my istick 100 watt. And also try different tanks to make sure if its the mod or the tank.

Never dropped it, never flooded it, have used 4 different tanks including my RDA with the pin out as far as it can go, with wattage and in temp mode, the center pin has not recessed, it literary stopped working over night, i use it as my bed side set up too with my nautilus mini.
Now for some reason the screen will flicker and and just cease to work, i think maybe this isnt fixable and its just packed up on me .
but i guess that will give me a good excuse to buy a newer one

I've only had this once and in my case it was a duff new coil and the problem was that that coil was dead. A pal of mine had a problem a bit like yours and his fix was to turn the iStick off and plug in the charger - we think it might somehow have re-set the thing; but that's a long shot and yours might just be dead.

You can however get condensation on the bottom of your tank - have you tried scrunching up a tissue and using it to clean out down the 510 connection and also cleaning the attie's threads.

That's all I can think of...

It's a great time to buy the RX200S. They just updated it with the sexiest screen. I payed the same price for the iStick 40 as I just had recently for the RX200S. For some reason I didn't like the colors of the RX and waited. once they released the S version, I had to jump on it. Sorry to hear about your istick 40. It's my favorite little mod. It charges quickly with usb and lasts a long time. I know why you like it. I even bought a rubber case for mine.

Cleaned the threads and still nothing, I have left it on charge over night so hopefully that works I will test it later today, the rx200s does look nice but I already have a few big mods and the I stick was my bed/running out the house mod so I might go for the mini volt or the target mini.

I have an iStick TC40w and it is like the Energizer bunny for me it just keeps going and going. I hope you find the answer to this and have you tried the Atomizer that does not read on another MOD?

Its a real shame i liked my istick iv had the 20, 40 and 50 and they have all been great!
Yes iv used the Atomizer on other mods its currently on my istick 50, its annoying too as i once dropped my istick 50 into a pot noodle and 3 days later it worked and is hasnt stopped since.
I fully charged it and turned it on and off and the 40 is still messing up.

I have dropped my iStick TC40w so many times it is ridiculous and it has a few nicks in it. I wonder if there is any software that you could use with it or is the Micro USB just for charging?

iv looked everywhere to find a way to hard reset it or something like that and i think its charging only sadly.

Watching that video makes me think the battery has crapped out and can't take a load but I am not a battery expert. I have done some research into changing the battery in an iStick and from what I am seen it can be done.

Sadly, it sounds like your TC40 has gone south for the summer.

Mine developed a 'finicky' 510 which virtually makes using it in TC impossible. I found an Aspire Atlantis is able to work on it in power mode.

I hate to get rid of it as the battery is still good and I love the size and form factor. Great little mod. The VTC Mini, iStick Pico or just another TC40 (they are still being sold) might be in your future.

While most are much larger, for about the same price or a few $$ more there are quite a few decent mods on the market to choose from.

Try holding the bottom button and the fire button (a few seconds). It will go into stealth mode. That might work!

I put stealth mode on and the screen still shows lol i think GeorgeS might be right its gone south, its a shame but i will most likely get another small 40watt mod, Not even TC works on it, my silo beast has atlantis Ni coils in it and still nothing but it does mean i can get a new toy to play with and the wife cant moan iv gotten another because this one broke

Again maybe just me - I have 3 iStick 40 w and 4 iStick 30w and to my mind the 30s have the edge for battery life by quite a way...mind you I don't run big voltages nor wattages
