Has anyone used anything in their kitchen that was water soluble and vapable. For example lemon or lime juice. Can this be my primary additive for flavor or would it be weak? I have a bottle of truvia could i mix a little in to add sweetness or will it clog up my coil? Sugar, saline? Does saline make fruit flavors pop or will I just end up with a salty peach? lol Basically wondering if anyone has experimented with anything that has worked. What about natural juicy juice, etc. ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Most things you would want to eat, aside from artificial flavorings, are not readily vapable. People do extractions from things such as mint, tea leaves, coffee beans, and vanilla beans, but it takes time and filtering to separate the flavor from the source, and getting some things strong enough to flavor e-juice is difficult. Anything with significant sugar/calories will gunk you coils quickly and not be nice to your lungs, and anything with fats/oils/lipids is very bad for your lungs. People use stevia for sweetener, but it should be pure stevia, not a prepared product that contains trace amounts of sugar, anti-caking agents, and/or fillers.

People do use saline in small amounts, but you probably don't want to just dump a bunch of salt in some water and use that. Medical grade saline at 0.9% is what I have seen recommended, and that used at less than 10% of the mix. Lemon juice is also used in small amounts to compliment some mixes, but it should be filtered. Some people also put a dash of vinegar in some mixes. But those things are usually used in small amounts to complement the main flavors.
