So with the popularity of velocity style build decks and the questionable hex screws / allen key that comes with it, I was wondering if there was just 1 size hex screwdriver that would fit all rta's currently on the market?

Different decks might have different size screw slots and in that case you'll need different size hex keys.

I find generally 1.27 fits all mine except my mutank but I changed the grub screws
1.5 is too big for most of my tanks pain in the assssss as 1.27mm are available just a pain to find nice little driver on eBay £5
You could get slotted or phillips replacements for them if you wanted to go that route. Avid sells slotted & phillips for the authentics (slotted from avid I know fits the tobeco) and vaping walrus has slotted for the tobecco version.

Ahh...a ball point driver.
They do under size those slightly, so they can rotate.

Don't get it from them, they overcharge. Just google search Hex screwdriver 1.5mm (or whatever size it is your looking for) and you'll get a whole bunch of results. All you gotta make sure is that the size is right...thats what she said?
I bought a set of wiha from amazon including 5 pieces, from 1.3 to 3.0 and called it a day. $23 is a bit steep but the quality is there and I won't be stranded when I find a need for the bigger sizes.
Speaking of these grub screws, what is the hardest replacement for the griffin rta? I'm constantly stripping the head trying to tight down claptons. I'm going through the replacements like juice. I tried slotted from an ebay vendor and that is permanently stuck in one if the griffins...

I order replacement grubs from Mr. Metric for all my Aromamizers (1.25x3). The shipping was as much as the order, but I got 40 replacements and a much higher quality. I was stripping the included ones all over the place, but nary one of the replacements has stripped so it was worth it to me.
