I'm 100% sure this has been talked about before. So, I'm sorry.

I can't come to a solid conclusion reading previous posts as to weather the Poly-Fil that I have is safe to use in my carts?

I will just type everything it says!

"POLY-FIL

100% Premium Polyester Fiberfill

The best just got better! 16oz.

Is this stuff Okay to fill in my carts to drop juice and vape away?
Are there chemicals in this stuff that would not be safe to vape with?

meeting the flammability requirements of california bureau of home furnishing means it most likely has a chemical flame ......ant in/on it. That's what I would think.

Thats what I am thinking. Is it safe to use this in a cart?
When you buy pre-filled carts with or without juice, is this what is in there?

I think polyester fiber is naturally fire resistant, it melts instead instead of burning right away. I think it's the right stuff.

I couldn't find Fluval in a size that was convenient so I purchased 4oz of filter fiber instead, also 100% polyester (enough to last for years). Available in the aquarium department of most pet stores. It works just fine.

im gonna keep mine till i hear dif...it works great and feels and looks exactly like the fill in there....and willl ast forever....

To each their own I suppose.

I play the "Better safe than sorry" game.

I honestly don't know if there even is a difference, but I suppose it makes sense that there would be chemicals in a fire-......ant material.
(Well, compared to analogs, I suppose it's still safer, hehe)

Oh well. I dont know.

I guess that might make sense that it already passes california's qualifications or.. whatever.

What is that anyway? It has to get heated to a certain amount before catching on fire? I don't know.

I use the fish filter stuff -- but not Fluval. I went to my local fish store and bought Whisper Bio-Bags...they are preformed bags, so they're like "sheets" of fiberfill. (Give the included charcoal packs to a fishy friend, or use yourself if you are fishy! Extra carbon is always needed for someone really into fish) I use scissors to cut them to the right length/width, fold in half, tuck into the tip and cut off any excess so it has a proper fit unlike taking a piece of fiberfill and rolling it around to fit... Probably a tad more expensive, I paid $9 at my local mom-n-pop pet store. Going to a bigger chain would be cheaper I'm sure. Had to stop and talk to a friend that works there, so figured with gas being the way it is, wouldn't be much savings going to the "Big City" anyway :)

They are free of any chemicals, etc like fluval, I just find the preformed sheets to be easier to use when I'm in a hurry, which these days is ALL THE TIME! hehe Plus I like the more exact fit, less likely to end up with a mouthful of juice from not completely filling the tip right -- or overfilling it and not being able to draw through the tip at all!
