I don't have specific experience with the Blu kit, but I do have a ProSmoke kit which is quite similar. It gets hot, too, when
vaping at a higher rate of inhales per minute. It's a function of the small size of the device versus the heat required to produce the vapor. I will say that I also have a Volt and it gets warm, but not nearly as hot, as the smaller ProSmoke.
I guess when we start making the transition from
tobacco to liquids we have a tendency to drag on the device at a higher rate than we would on a real cigarette. It's all part of the conversion process and, probably, is enhanced by the fact that there are no chemical "enhancements" in the liquid to improve nicotine absoption in our bodies like there is in
tobacco cigarettes. Just my personal opinion, of course.
