I think my buddy got the updated version. He bought it last week. The P4U logo is at the bottom like the IPV3. It appears they made the battery panel fit better and it doesn't shut off if you smack the device with your hand. I don't know for sure if those factors indicate the updated version, but it seems pretty well constructed compared to the original IPV2.

I wonder if my LG 18650HE2 2500mAh - IMR batteies will be fine in this box? Only 30+amp batteries I can find are EFEST Purple wraps but I have 2 of the LGHE2 and then been great in my Cana Mod Clone. Anyone got some thoughts on this?

I don't think you will have a problem to be perfectly honest

Thanks Folgrz! From my understanding the LGHE2 are under-rated and I think are 30amp but I could be wrong. Good news is I should have my mod tomorrow! Ordered from Jacksonville living in Jacksonville :toast:

Y'know, if you use paired batteries (ie: the two you use in your Hana) individually in another device, you shouldn't really be using them back in your Hana.

If you're gonna use batteries in series, make sure they're married or paired. You want the two batteries to have the same nominal voltage rating at any given time, by using them individually you're potentially introducing battery sag/difference in voltage/etc.

It feels like I'm telling someone this at least once a day..

My Hana DNA30 only uses one baterry 18650 at a time... Or you talking about when I switch one out when its low and put another in??

LOL nevermind, I thought the Hana used 2x batteries (in series). You should be all good.

OK, Yeah I heard if you have a VV/VW MOD that uses more than one battery to make sure and use the same pair (married) batteries as you mentioned, good advice.

I'll prob end up getting a 100/150 watt device as a final vv/vw mod to have on hand.
