Can I use some IRC 18650 3.7v 2200mAh batteries in the SVD?

I have an SVD - good choice. And no, those are not suitable batteries. As Sthur posted, you need IMR batteries, they have a safer chemistry and are capable of high drain. I use AW IMR, there is also Efest IMR. RTD Vapor is a good vendor for IMR batteries and many people have got theirs from him.

What do you do when gifted with both the SVD and NCR18650B by a generous donor and store owner?

I've been reading on the forums not to use the NCR18650Bs in the SVD. I have been using the iclears that come with and then DCT Pro Dual 2.4 ohm... Works fine, but you all are scaring me more with the talk about it.

I do have 2 more batteries Efest button top 2000mah 18650, but they run my 2 clone mech mods. I am planning on getting 2 VTC4 or VTC5 for the mech mods. When I do, ditch the NCR18650B???

The NCR18650B is not rated as high drain. The NCR18650PD (which you don't have) are high drain. You could take the NCR18650B to a recycling pace or something like that. Personally, I wouldn't use them. Putting a device up to my face several times a day I want to be as safe as I can.

Its all about the draw from the battery. Since the NCR18650B is rated at 3amp continuous discharge, as long as you are pulling less than 3 amps you are fine, I vape with one in my VAMO everyday with a 2ohm coil at 8-10watts depending. maximum pull is 2.5 amps and the batteries max is 4. Its nice to have a battery that lasts 2 days straight.

That being said, I would never try to use one in a mechanical mod, or try to get more than 3amps out of it.

It mostly is. Its also about how they react if they overheat for some reason. An IMR or safer chemistry battery is most likely to vent gas rather than exploding. That gives the user time to get the battery to a safe place, instead of it suddenly exploding in their face.
