innokin Endura T22 Pro MTL Kit 3.000mAh
Along with the AIO Sensis Find-F Kit packed with innovative features (which I recently reviewed), Innokin sent me a new device.
This time it is a "starter kit" of the classic Endura series, specially developed for MTL, therefore aimed at that range of users who intend to start the vaping experience on the right foot.
In my view this kit despite not having a revolutionary chipset like that of Sensis Find-F is quite effective in several respects.
    Enjoy the reading

    Packaging:
Also this package turns out to be 100% recycled, good Innokin keeps it up.
On the front side we find; the stylized design of the Kit, a label that recalls the name of the new atomizer and the introduction of a new 1.7Ω coil.

On the back are listed the same warnings present on the front, the packing list, the scratch & check, the Qr-Code and the address of Shenzhen Innokin Technology Co., Ltd.

On the sides of the box there is still a very long "to read" series of warnings and an image of the kit with the current batch number.

    Color range:
Ruby Red, Royal Blue, Steel Gray, Blushed Silver, Rose Gold, Matte Black.
All color versions of Endura T22 Pro respect the "minimal" spirit of this kit without weighing down the line. I received the Matte Black colorway which is probably also the most elegant of the lot.

    First impressions:

The small Prism T18E Pro tank is available in 3 colors; black, ss, gunmetal. The tank retains the characteristic armor of the previous series but with a new design. Technical improvements have been introduced starting from the new 1.7Ω Ka resistance up to a new type of refill.
The tank, taking its cue from the Innokin Zlide Tank, has therefore been updated with a renewed sliding system and can receive up to 2ml of e-liquid through a non-leakage rubber membrane.

Endura T22 Pro is powered by a large 3000mAh built-in battery, yet the Mod appears incredibly small ... The Endura family starts from afar, initially it was made up of tube-shaped devices that used batteries around 1,500mAh and then moved on to the first 2,000mAh version of T22 which had a "box" look like this.
So the performance improvement even compared to the original T22 kit is remarkable! For an Mtl starter kit with these characteristics, we can safely speak of a large reserve of energy for a long autonomy before recharging. This version uses USB-C 5V / 2A charging, which means that even if the battery is bigger, the device will charge fast.

    Feeling:
As I teased earlier, it's amazing how small this 3,000mAh Mod is! The dimensions in height are comparable to those of a lighter! The weight of the entire kit is around 150g (107g the Mod) which is completely negligible.
So the Endura T22 Pro can disappear in the hand, in addition the zinc alloy construction of the mod and steel of the Tank, makes the whole device appreciably solid and robust.

    Front, back and side view:
What I expected was a display with a lot of vaping data, but Endura T22 Pro only uses the fire button to activate vaporization, the USB-C charging socket to charge quickly and the selection button to vary the power through 4 steps.
The selected power is indicated by as many bars and each click corresponds to an increase in the pre-set bar and W. All this for some users may seem "too poor" in reality I think it is the best and least complicated that can be offered to a new vaper, or to a simple user of electronic cigarettes.

Even the handle and side profiles appear clean and without unnecessary frills, no excessive decoration, all you can see are the white lettering "Endura T22 Pro" on one side and "Innokin" on the other.
    • In the image below you can also see the Zlide 24mm that I installed before testing the Prism T18E Pro.

    Top / bottom view:
The cup has some radiuses engraved in the metal that are quite nice to the eye. The pin is floating and spring loaded, as I mentioned earlier it is possible to accommodate atomizers with a diameter of 24mm without protrusions (for MTL use).

On the bottom, in a recessed and protected position, there is a switch button (On / off) that allows you to quickly deactivate the mod when you want to put it in your pocket or bag, the next time you use it simply position the button on On and resume vaping. Also on the bottom are indicated the characteristics of the battery and on the 4 corners there are 4 non-slip rubber pads.

    Prism T18E Pro:
In combination with the tank there are two Drip-Tip 510 both perfect for MTL use, the one in derlin (light colored) has a very small internal diameter and is able to manage heat well and make the Puff rather narrow.
The glass is not replaceable, however it is difficult if not impossible to break it considering the presence of a protective external armor. Cleaning operations must be carried out through the coil insertion hole. The coils have the 510 connection thread incorporated and must be inserted from the bottom into the tank. Next you have to screw the perforated lid.

    AFC Stealth:
The passage of air towards the coil takes place through the two channels engraved on the lid of the atom that directly feed the holes made on the coil thread.
This is an invisible system, many could argue that it is not an adjustable system, however I must say that it does not make you regret it because each coil has calibrated passages that offer the right contrast to the Puff. So with this simple but ingenious system every Vaper / Mtl can easily find the setting with the right suction contrast. Simply by choosing your favorite coil from those available.

Innokin Endura T22 Pro MTL Kit 3.000mAh 14.jpg

    Endura Coil:
Included in the kit are two coils, one is the new 1.7Ω T18E in KAL with range 9-13.5W (pre-installed) the other is a rather elaborate T18 / T22 1.5Ω with resistive winding placed horizontally near the vertex higher.
This Coil feeds through 12 holes arranged in 4 vertical rows of 3 holes each. The operating range on the 1.5Ω coil is not indicated but from the tests I carried out it worked well with each selected power step.

Innokin very kindly sent me two packs containing 5 coils each. These are the 1.7Ω and 1.6Ω M18s (sold separately) with a range of 10-13.5W.

The tank is compatible with all Endura T18 / T22 / T18E / M18 coils I had already appreciated the extraordinary yield (MTL) of some of them on other devices and I must say that even these last 3 types of coils work well (exclusively) in style MTL.

These are quite large coils that contain a lot of cotton. So for a long life of the resistance it is necessary to soak the cotton well with liquid and wait at least 5 minutes before using a new Coil.
Usually I make at least 5 drops of liquid penetrate through the hole at the top, also priming the side holes.

The three coils I tested are quite similar in operation but with slight differences in the Puff's restriction level. All coil's consume little liquid and satisfy a lot in terms of aromatic yield. In particular, highlighting the sweet notes of liquids. The blow in the throat seems well balanced to me and goes hand in hand with the mg / ml concentration of nicotine.
Considering the rather low range of use (between 9 and 13.5W) these coils also surprise for the amount of dense vapor they can produce.

    Operation Guide:
Nothing could be easier and more intuitive! With 3 clicks you turn the mod on / off and if you want to turn it off quickly before putting it away, simply position the switch button on "Off".

You can adjust the power on 4 levels (9.5, 11, 12.5, 13.5W) simply with the "Mode" button and each click corresponds to a bar increase, up to 4 bars (13.5W), to the next click restarts from 1 bar (9.5W).

During use, the fire button takes on a certain color:
    • Green: The charge level is between 50 and 100%
    • Yellow: The charge level is between 20 and 50%
    • Red: The charge level is between 0 and 20%

Innokin Endura T22 Pro MTL Kit 3.000mAh 16.jpg

    Protections and LED signals:
    • If the LED flashes 10 times it indicates that the device has entered into timeout: Press the Fire button again
    • If the LED flashes 8 times: it indicates that the voltage is low: Recharge the battery.
    • If the LED lights up for 5 seconds it indicates a short circuit: Check or replace the Coil.
    • If the LED flashes when the key is pressed, it indicates the open circuit or coil protection too high: Check or replace the coil.
    • If the LED flashes 3 times twice it indicates high temperature protection: Press once and wait until the circuit temperature returns to a safe level.
    • If the activation of a single puff lasts for 30 seconds or more, the shutdown is automatic.
    • If the device is turned off and does not turn on again, you can only recharge it.

    During the charging phase:
    • The Red Led indicates that the Battery is charged between 0 and 90%
    • The Green Led indicates that the battery is over 90% charged
    • The LED turns off when the Battery is fully charged (100%).

    • A full charge cycle of the 3,000mAh battery takes approximately 110 minutes

    Final conclusions:
Hoping to have been as comprehensive as possible, I greet you and conclude by briefly summarizing my impressions during this test.

T22 Pro is an excellent additional choice to the Endura range, it has proved to be a very smart Entry level Kit and that I would recommend as it incorporates and improves some of the qualities of its predecessors but in some respects outclasses all the competition towards this kind of Kit.
Innokin with this proposal has managed to offer an MTL vaping kit expressly dedicated to all new vapers and I am very sure it will be appreciated.
    Thanks for reading.

Thanks to Innokin for sending me the product for free in exchange for my honest evaluation.
