Please help me troubleshoot this problem.

I gave my wife the innokin endura t18 for Christmas. We've been vaping for over 6 years. First with Vapor4life gear and then just over a year ago we both switched to Innokin, itaste clk and itaste clk 1280. The tanks we used are the Nautilus Mini. Very happy.

Yesterday her tank, T18, would not fire. I switched the tanks and the Endura had no problems firing the Nautilus Mini.

So, the question is: how do I troubleshoot the Endura tank?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Turn power off on the T18 battery (3 clicks) and take a look at the battery pin where the Prism (T18) tank connects. The battery pin should be free of corrosion, debris and dried liquid. Using something none conductive and "pointy" ... see if there is slight up and down spring loaded movement on the battery pin.

... check the bottom of the T18 tank where it connects to the battery to be sure there is no corrosion or dried liquid or something fouling the connection.

Not sure what's going on, but seems to be a connection problem between the tank and battery. The flashing green light would indicate that. In fact, if you remove the tank from the battery and press the fire button, the green light will flash. The battery doesn't "see" the tank.

The only other thing I can think of aside from inspecting the battery pin and bottom of the tank ... is to carefully examine how flush the tank is to the battery when installed. Hold the T18 up to some light and while turning it in your hand, look to see that the tank is flush with the battery all the way around (can see no light between the tank and battery connection.

Other than that and since the T18 tank works on a different battery, there is some type problem with the pin on the T18 battery. While another tank works on the T18 battery as you stated, the length of the threaded connector of the T18 tank and the other tank may be slightly different but just enough to make a difference.

I THINK the T18 tank threaded connector MAY be slightly shorter than others. For instance, I once tried my T18 tank on an Aspire CF VV+ battery and tank would not fire (no tank to battery connection) ... but the Nautilus Mini from the Aspire battery fired fine on the Endura battery. That's what lead me to think the threaded connector on the T18 tank was slightly shorter.

Anyway, I don't know what else might help at this point. Good Luck !!!

I bought my wife one for Christmas. Worked great! She wanted to change flavors, so I changed out the coil and it wouldn't fire. So I put a different coil in and it worked fine. So out of curiosity, I put the other head back in, and again, would not fire. I got to looking at it, and it didn't seem to be sitting flush. I took a small tack hammer and lightly tapped the flat edges on the coil down a little, put it back in and it was setting flush, so put it back on and it worked. You may just have a coil that is a bit out of whack and not making connection. Or could just be a bad coil all together. Good luck!

This what I was talking about holding to light to check for flush fittings. You should see no light either at the top or bottom of the tank base. All connections should be flush.

The .5A should be fine. I use a 1A but would be afraid to try a 2A on that small a battery.

In fact, on page 9 of the owners manual it states, "Only charge Innokin devices with a high quality CE/UL Certified 5V/1A wall charger."

That said, the owner's manual also shows on page 8 that it is suitable to charge directly on a USB laptop computer port.

The ONLY thing I don't like about the T18 is the USB port cover on the bottom of the battery. It's too loosey goosey LOL

I really like the Endura too. The flavor is unbeatable unless you wander off into sub-ohm LOL. I have several different mods including sub-ohm but enjoy the T18 so much that I've ordered a T22 (higher fluid capacity and large mah battery). Should be here in a few days.
Was just looking at this one and think it may be my next purchase.

Bonnie, if you like MTL I think you will really like the Endura. The dual top coils provide EXCELLENT flavor although being at the top you do need to use your slow deliberate vape draw, not a fast hard cig draw or it spits a bit and gets hot. Not a big deal at all. I do prefer the budda drip tip I have on mine, to the supplied cig .... type drip tip both in performance and looks, but that is just a personal preference. The supplied tips work just fine.

When I get a mod, I ask myself if I would buy it again or not. This one ... definite yes I would. Not only is the flavor and vapor density good, it's easy and convenient to use and works in all circumstances. It doesn't leak one bit what so ever and pockets and travels without a worry. I have several more feature packed and expensive mods but find I go to the T18 most often.

Like I said earlier ... the only thing about the T18 is the dang loosey goosey magnetic USB cover on the bottom. HATE that thing ;)
