    Hello and welcome back for today's review of the Arcfire refillable pod kit from Innokin. The Arcfire is a very simple device having only a power button to turn the device on/off which makes it a auto draw only device with power output done automatically depending on which pod is used. Airflow is fixed having no adjustability either, I'll tell you how all these factors perform later on but first lets see some of the features of the Arcfire from it's manufacturer Innokin.

    HOW TO GUIDE

    FIRST IMPRESSIONS

    The Arcfire comes as a simple box in a box design, the inner box slides out with the device resting in it's on tray, inside the tray/box is a White envelope containing a charge cord, safety guide and the owners manual that Innokin calls the quick guide. Only one pod is supplied with this kit and it's a 1.2Ω mesh, a 0.8Ω mesh pod is available but sold separately. Innokin sent a box of the 0.8Ω mesh pods for review as well. The fist device I opened was the solid colored Grey one which has a matt finish and looks nice. The 2nd device is a stunning color Innokin calls Cosmic Pink which actually looks like a light colored purple that gradients to a Blue color, both have a nice metallic appearance and are very light to hold as well as being shirt pocket friendly with no pocket sag.

    Fist things first was to turn the device on with 3 quick presses of the power button then charge the device to insure a fully charged internal battery and that's when the light show began, there is a bezel around the base of the device the breathes on/off while charging with the 3 battery indicator lights illuminating as well, these lights also illuminate when vaping. It didn't take very long to come to a full charge. The USB-C charge port is located on the bottom of the Arcfire.

    Before using a safety sticker placed on the bottom of the coil must be removed. The pod attaches using very strong magnets that actually pull out of your fingers when attaching the pod that only goes on one way. There is a small bump out on the pod that rides in the open side of the Arcfire at the top. The pod uses the rubber plug method of filling and the opening is fairly large with a arrow pointing to the spot to pull open.

    The Arcfire uses a single air feed hole above the power button that works just fine giving a semi tight MTL vape and the auto draw is one of the best on a device, it always fires and never stops mid draw. The mouthpiece is very comfortable to use, the taper of it has your lips resting on the pod. I'm glad that Innokin decided to lightly tint the pod making juice viewing very easy.

    PROS

    * Attractive

    * Lightly Tinted Pod

    * Lightweight

    * 3 Very Strong Magnets

    * Leak Free

    * Simple To Use

    * Great Auto Draw

    * True MTL Vape

    * Smooth Airflow

    CONS

    * Only 1 Pod Included

    * 1.2Ω Mesh Coil Flavor Seems Muted

    * Charging Rate Should Be Faster

    FINAL IMPRESSIONS

    Overall this is a good device that operates good. The 650mAh battery gave me about 3.5 hours of use on a single charge but took some time to recharge to full capacity, most devices have a charge rate of 2A and the Arcfire's 0.75A doubles charge time.

    A con that I mentioned was shipping the device with only one pod included, this is a big disappointment for me for 2 reasons with the first being there a many factors of failure possible and only having 1 pod if it's defective or say a new user unexpectedly burnt the coil they would be dead in the water. For me the 1.2Ω coil in the pod seemed a bit muted for flavor even after the 1 full pod of break in juice where the 0.8Ω coil in the pod after break in gave decent flavor, it should have been included with this kit in my opinion.

    Where this device really shines is the smooth auto draw that worked flawlessly. I also like how both pods seemed to sip juice rather than guzzle it. I had no problem viewing juice levels in normal lighting because of it's light tint.

    Taste is subjective so my lack of flavor on the 1.2Ω pod might be just me because I normally vape a MTL coil at 7-8 Ω's on a regular daily basis so take that into consideration. Both devices get a A for looks and I even like the bezel of light. The 3 light battery meter is sufficient and holds true with it's battery meter.

    I would like to thank Alisa and Innokin for sending the 2 Arcfire device's and the 2 0.8Ω pods for review. I would also like to thank all of you that read my reviews.

    THANK YOU
