Initial charge for SmokTech Winder VV battery - questions

I just got one of these today, brought it home and plugged it into the USB port on my computer a tad before noon. The light on the charger will turn green, and the light on the power button will flash. Then the flashing stops and the light stays green on the charger.

I figure it's done so take it off the charger, install the tank and try to use it and nothing. Three rapid presses of the power button does nothing. I plug it back into the charger and the light will be red, then repeat the flashing power button and back to green. Tried it again. Nothing.

It's back on the charger, and the light is now green. It is now 3:45pm, so it's been charging for about 4 hours. Am I seeing what I should expect to see with initial charge on this model? This isn't behaving like any of my other ecigs rigs.

I believe the smok Winder is 5 clicks to turn it on and 5 clicks to turn it off. Have you tried pressing it more than 3 times in rapid succession?

That was it! This is my fifth ecig battery (I like variety) and this is the only one that doesn't start up with 3 clicks.

I would be very careful!! Most of these chargers come with a warning to NOT use a USB port on a computer.

Really not a good idea to turn a $699.00 lap top into a $1.99 USB power supply. Unless you like to spend $699.00 every time a cheapo e-cig charger behaves badly.

And likewise, not a good idea to turn a $12.99 ego battery into a house torch either with the fluctuations in power!
