bump.

Don't want this thread to die again but there seems to be less and less interest in Inawera.
I think the problem is a lot of there new flavors are trying to be one shots. I got the Wunder Waffle and figuring out how to use it is tough as it is not just a plain waffle. The Irish Coffee is real good, more like a coffee and cream flavor and well balanced. Haven't tried any of there other new flavors as it is a mix of different flavors. Cake Emperor would have been better as just a cake that I add my own fruits too if needed.

Would love to see them get back to the basics. A new cake would be great, love there Lemon Cake used at 1 drop per 10ml but use it in conjunction with other cakes. A yellow and white cake would be nice. A new Waffle like there old waffle would be great, just a plain waffle with no syrup or nuts.

Still have a number of staples from INW I use all the time but there all single flavors, not these one shot concoctions.

I'll be interested in what you think of Mango Tango. I've been eyeing it but waiting to hear what it's like first.
I'll let you know, mixed it the 24th at 5% so should be showing up well, knuckle test last night shows promise.

I heard the Wunder Waffle was not very good so I haven't picked it up yet. Good to know about the Irish Coffee though- I think that's something I could probably work with :)

5% sounds high for Inawera but I have noticed a few of the newer flavors I've picked up lately seem to be a bit on the weak side compared to their older formulations. Do you have FE Mango? I'd be interested in hearing how it compares as that is my go-to mango these days.

I have the SC mango sft mixed but haven't tasted yet. From all I've read FE is actually SC flavors rebranded.

I can confirm this is true as I have several of the same flavors from both lines and they are exactly the same.

Yeah, wunder is an odd one for sure but it might find a place in a tobacco recipe. It is not off putting but the mix of waffle, nuts and maybe like a toffee makes it a head scratcher to find a use for. I am still gonna play around with it as it does intrigue me but not one I would recommend.

Shortbread is an interesting flavor as is Miss Cream. Haven't found the best use for them yet but they smell great. Horned Toffee is a little odd but worked well in a tollhouse cookie recipe that I use it really low at 1 drop per 10ml. If I find a good use for Shortbread and Miss Cream they will be reorders and I have a feeling that will be the case. Horned Toffee more than likely I won't reorder, only have one recipe that uses it and at such a low amount the 10ml bottle should last me years.

If Wunder Waffle is a waffle/nut/toffee combination I can sure see how that would limit it's usefulness.

Shortbread is one of my favorites that I use quite a bit. I use it for a crumbly cookie topping in my strawberry cheesecake recipe. I also have a pecan shortbread recipe I use it in. Last time I shopped Inawera I bought a 100 ml bottle.

I have Miss Cream too but I can't remember if I've used it yet

I agree.:thumb: One-shots/complex blends are just too limiting. Unless it is a flavor profile I am seeking; I can't get excited about them. :(
I also have a pecan shortbread recipe I use it in.
Would you be willing to share this recipe? Please and thank you. :D

Seems I have used Miss Cream in a recipe and it wasn't bad:

Monster Pie
INW Biscuit 1%
INW Lime Monster 2%
INW Miss Cream 2%
INW Yes We Cheesecake 2%

Steep 1 week and enjoy!

Pecan Shortbread is one of my very few oh-so-simple recipes:

Pecan Shortbread
FW Butter Pecan 4%
INW Shortbread 2%
INW Vanilla Cream 1%

Same deal - steep 1 week then vape!

Anybody suggests any of this Inawera flavors as stand-alone flavors? I heard Shisha strawberry is a great stand alone flavor?

It's a great flavor for sure and a staple for any mixer's stash but it's also only a single note, not a one-shot. That said, give it a try as a single flavor and see what you think. At minimum I would add something like INW Vanilla Cream to it to give the mix more depth.

"Shisha" flavors solo only opinion:
Strawberry .. YUM, also blends well with pastry's, and creams.
Cinnamon .. mild, good
Gingerbread .. good
Lemon .. mild, good, but regular INW Lemon is better
Mai Tai .. good
Pineapple .. mild, good
Raspberry .. mild, good, regular INW Raspberry is better, but not the WG brand
The rest of the Shisha flavors were either too mild for me, didn't have any flavor no matter the %, or there are just better versions of that flavor out there (for me).
The first 3 flavors on the list are the only ones I bought extra of, and threw in the freezer.
But remember .. they all taste different to each of us.

So the mango tango is a bit weird for me. Very mellow and a bit too sweet in the skyfall clone rda, it's mango but not as ripe as I would prefer. In a rta with a cooler vape it was much better and not so sweet. Good middle of the road mixing mango that shines with an orange for a boost. Thinking this with sc mango, and FW orange natural could be a nice stone.

Thank you for your tasting notes @Letitia

I think for now I can skip this flavor as I'm not in a rush to add a new mango to my already large stash of 14 mango flavors :)
