Sooo... your saying I should hide my zippo lighter, 4 bazooka joe gum wrappers and my 50c coin in another place so she can't have my fortune anyways.... muhahahahahaha, muahahahahahaha...
Well, I guess if one wants to be safe, one would hide their valuables the way prison inmates do.
Although for some couples, that might not work out depending on their sexual proclivities.

EDIT: Now if that doesn't get me dinged by the mods, I don't know what will.
EDIT:

Well done sir... you win the internet. LOL..

I actually thought of this at one point after writing it... I'm GTA (Greater Toronto Area, or outside of TO), glad of that fact, I live in the burbs, just put TO so most don't have to google my whereabouts.

No less funny though, I tip my hat to you sir.

Well, that is ma'am to you sir.

Yay, I won the internet. Does this mean I can tells the mods what to do?

awwww I'm sorry, there is a skill testing question....

Are you a man?, correct answer: Yes.

I'm sorry ma'am.

I assumed gay man when my eyes quickly caught Flaming something rather than Flamingo Tutu... It makes more sense now.

I can offer you one of my bazooka joe wrappers, but I'm afraid you won't like where it's been. :)

Wow, that post looks a lot longer after posting it... sorry.

Oh and my banner... it's just a counter to remind me how long I've stayed away from the vice/addiction that would have eventually taken me from my kids....

As far as saving money goes... LOL... I've been vaping for 5 weeks and have spent 1.5 years worth of smoking analogs on vaping gear. I havn't saved anything.

$29.08 Nemesis Mechanical Mod - stainless steel / with telescopic 510 center pin at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
I call this stealing.

I'm not sure I understand your post...

Are you referring me to knockoff mods in order to help me save money on my addiction (I don't think I'm the target audience for knockoff mods, I like big expensive toys.. been vaping for 5 weeks, check my sig.), or are you informing me the act of buying clones is considered stealing to you and you thought I should know this. (If so, why did you quote that?)

If either of the two options above, I'm unsure why you quoted me? (or that post maybe)

maybe your referring to the convo in general (Chinese stealing from americans)... sorry I'm slow, just figured that out, it must be that.

Sorry buzzzz.. should have quoted when I said something about them not stealing.. anyways I digress, and you wonder why my posts are long, I think out loud... normal people start their post here:

FOR OTHER PEOPLE... START READING HERE. (Even if you saw this first, you still read the above... Isn't curiosity a B. now you know I don't lie.. you should have started here.) :)

Ok fine, this could get long.

#1.
I didn't say "The Chinese don't steal", I said the Chinese don't steal jobs... It's frustrating having a conversation with someone who argues/converses over things like this without understanding the distinction between the two.

I'm not trying to give them a moral high ground by arguing the point for them over the original statement, you are still allowed to hate them, I'm not trying to change your mind. I'm just trying to tell you that they don't do what a poster said they do, they don't steal jobs. You give the jobs too them... now you have to start to deal with that fact, it's hard to admit, but is the 1'st step to recovery.

#2
I believe the whole e-cig market started, and devices where originally created in Chia, so every device we have today is somehow and innovation of the previous device which can lead right back to china. That may be unique to this industry, not most.

The Chinese do clone stuff, a lot of it. I think you have to ask yourself why though. I don't care if you own a clone this or that, the question is not posed to you specifically, because we all know your of perfect moral character, but many of us (ECF members, ECIG users, except those who are offended by my inclusivity of said persons) own some sort of copy or clone of a device made in china... why is that?

Did china woo us with their intelligently written marketing campaigns (buy lady like kool aid e-puff smoke device ok, taste cool, taste long, live fresh (tm))?

Or did we buy the crap by the boatload..... supply/demand.. we're good at the latter, their good at the former.

Either way, #2 has nothing to do with what I stated earlier. Just an observation I'll make on some whacky Idea you had about what you thought you heard me say.

I'm also not making any statement into the moral dilemma that buying a Chinese cloned mod might pose for some of you. Personally, If I where to sit and consciously make observations into my moral character and begin to judge and analyze those observations I'd have to start with much bigger dilemma's... but that's just me, I'm not perfect!

NOTE: not aimed at you buzzzzlove, just in general I find it funny when people will get so serious about moral this or moral that yet ignore the true moral dilemma's of the world that are probably sleeping at their doorstep, or are incarcerated and F'd for life for smoking weed.. or........ pick your poison.

Been vaping for over 3 years now.
I've saved all the receipts.

I even own a $250 mod.

Total cost since I started (junk starter kits, liquids and attys to present day...and all included).
$911.18

Now lets look at my cigarette smoking days.
1 burnt swimming pool cover (dropped a cherry...ouch). $2,088.73
Smoking related hits to auto and home trades. Well over $7,000.
Higher health insurance costs. $600.00
Stressed relationships and professional situations (Priceless).

There are MANY more damages I can attribute to smoking...mostly cleaning up places I ruined smoking around it.

My health and sense of worth and well being..............tobacco use demolished that for me personally. The PV community and products has helped me get a great start at rebuilding and recovering from 15 years of tobacco use.

OK, I'll stop there...and I haven't even begun to figure in the costs of the cigarettes, lighters, ash-trays, etc.

NO QUESTION ABOUT IT...I'm saving MONEY...and MORE with the switch.

Today I could drop vaping like a hot potato if I 'wanted'.
Thing is...I currently spend less on the habit than I do on my coffee and candy consumption.

I can't say the same with my cigarette addiction three years ago, and lawd knows, I tried (I didn't include the cost of patches, gums, Chantex prescriptions (and physician's fees), smokeless tobacco, and more in my list above either.

HA I was just being argumentative;-). The cold hard truth of the matter is people buy there stuff. I dont but most could care less about the damage not supporting your local economy dose.

But no matter how you dress it up counterfeiting someone elses product is lame unimaginative and sleazy.

no worries, I'd have done the same. Just like the switch in conversation.

to be honest (if that's not assumed), I'd be more tempted to buy their stuff if it was good quality (I've been blessed enough to be able to choose though, not everyone can afford real things on moral grounds), what scares the hell out of me and our economies is what happens when they figure this out (that we'd really go nuts if it was $50.00 instead of $20.00 but the same quality). They're not stupid people, even though they don't speak English. Believe it or not they have a way of communicating with each other with symbols. :)

"not supporting your local economy"... now we are talking... that's the biggest problem with corporations, along with the fact that no one has to answer for their morality (no owner, just holders). . :)

Keep vaping brother..

I can appreciate this... I've ruined more than one pair of jeans and worse my suit pants over the years smoking at my desk, car seats, visors, jackets... never gave these much thought.. nice post.

I don't mind the rebuttal / conversation... this is the stuff that gets you thinking, it's a shame no one else has jumped in or come back. Maybe they realized their points where invalid.

Coffee not coming back,.. I'm sure he is what he sounds like, whatever, I thought we had something here though, I really felt like I was making a connection with some of you :(

riseabovethestorm: hey noticed the folding@home tag... will have to take a look. I have racked based folding rig at work that used to run 24/7 until the project closed.... now it has no home, havn't looked into another project yet. Is it a large team?

I have one because it helps keep me on track. I still slip from time to time...usually no more than 2 or 3 cigs in a given week. Last time I slipped I had about half a pack in one day but had some rather stressful circumstances that shouldn't happen again for quite a while. Seems like about every 3 weeks I have at least 1 cig and could probably avoid that if I just tossed them in the trash but still like having them around. Plus it's hard for me to throw something out that isn't broken or fixable.

My banner currently says around $700 and I don't think I've spent over $400 in gear and juice. I have an eblue starter kit, 4 ego-c's, a vv usb battery passthrough, a vamo v3, charger, 8 18650 batteries. Probably 20 atties to spare, 10 3ml tanks and about 10 atties for those. Probably 6 months of juice in stock. So I guess I'm not sure how others aren't saving money.

But yeah would be nice to have a banner that allowed you to input your expenditures and give you +- net savings / expenditures based on gear and juice.

Maybe a politician or two will notice we now have money in our pockets to donate to their campaign, stir the economy in their town, put food on our table & donate to emergency relief.

I so funny! I should do stand up comedy.

:D:D:D

Oh brother, I assumed the OP was making a sardonic joke . . . .

I guess I've watched too many Woody Allen films, too many times . . .
