I'm a newb, I admit it. First started out with an evod, at 20mg and that was good but not enough vapor. So I got an evic vt, and love it! Went back to the local store and they said I could only use 3mg in the vt, not my typical 20mg. I've been trying this for 2 weeks now, and still going back to smoking, which I wasn't before. Can I use the 20mg in my vt? They said if I did I could have a stroke and die lol, which isn't a desired result. I want to completely quit smoking, but I'm not getting that nic relief now that I was.....
How much nicotine can you use in a mod like the evic vt?

well, I do NOT know about the vt. however i vape 24mg nicotine up to 120 watts making my own coils in a rebuildable atomizer at .3 sub ohm resistance. I've NOT died or had a stroke in almost 2 years..so I got that going for me.. that said..I HIGHLY doubt you would either...let me look up your unit. I'll post back.

I never cut when I went sub ohm never bothered me, however I was a HEAVY smoker my nicotine tolerance is high..if you start to feel dizzy or Ill cut back on nic. your body will tell you. and doubt it would stroke you in that small quantity..that just shouldn't have even been said to you in my opinion. it puts unnecessary fear where you need not worry...

A "general guideline" for nicotine concentration in e-liquid to the number of cigarettes smoked per day. If you are subohming (resistance under 1.0Ω) cut these nicotine levels by 50% (or vape less).

06 mg = 10 cigarettes or less
12 mg = 20 cigarettes
18 mg = 30 cigarettes
24 mg = 40 cigarettes

Thank you everyone, I think they shop was trying to just get me to buy more juice (which in my opinion doesn't have much flavor). That makes me feel better bc I have been vaping like crazy and still wanting/using cigs..... I'll just put some 18mg I have in my tank and see how it goes..... I'm at 500F, 50W, 0.41 in Ti mode as I have a titanium coil in. still trying to figure out the best settings. I think this store's juice must be crappy bc everything I've tried has been very mild tasting.... I want a kick in the mouth of flavor!

I'm also new to vaping and brand new to the forum but from my experience the nicotine level made really no difference to me until I got my first rda. I started little over a month ago with a cigalike with 24 and 18 mg carts. Within a week got 2 kanger evod2s and a nautilus mini. Vaped those with 18 but bumped down to 12 because all I could taste was the nicotine. As far as withdrawal I noticed no difference and maybe vaped a little more with the 12mg. I got a rda and box mod over the weekend with some 80vg 6mg juice and that is enough. I have tried dripping the 12mg juice I had. Way better flavor/vapor but man you gotta lay that thing down after a few clouds. Not uncomfortable but you def know something is happening. Reason I got the dripper in the first place was to get that bang kapow nic rush in the morning, first cig in the morning was the only one I couldn't let go. 16 year smoker started at 14, at least a pack a day by 16.

hey there, when i started vaping a few weeks ago, i got the evic vt, nice mod box i must say, im only using 2mg of nic and havnt smoked since, could be the way your hitting it, passed it onto my daughter for her smoking and noticed she was puffing it like a cig, wasnt working for her. try a lung hit ( pulling into the lungs from the mod) seems to work lots better.

The rule of thumb is "the better the delivery device the more juice consumed and therefore more nicotine ingested." Most people cut their nicotine level in half or more when moving into sub ohm tanks.
Well I started off Subohming but as I got different tank and staring dripping I did decrease from 3mg to now 6 mg

it's not smoke it's vapor :)

This shop is the only one in my area, as I live out in the sticks lol. It's a 20 min drive to just get to that one! Ok I just put 18mg in and I'm feeling better already! Was a 2 pack a day smoker... Any suggestions for good vaping places online? I ordered from dr crimmy, but got the wrong strength, so I need to place another order our find another site that is reasonable.

Another question, how long do the coils last before needing replacement? The store said 2 weeks but now I don't trust anything they told me.....

Thank you all for such a warm welcome and helping me!
