I want to buy e cig but I need help

Hello everyone,

This is my first post in this site, I have read many posts in the last three days and decided to join you because of the great help you provide.

I want to buy e cig but there are thing that I can't figure out.

1- what is the difference between cartomizer,atomizer and cartridge ?
2- I decided to buy v2 starter kit which includes (cartridges), can I refill the cartridge or I should
buy new cartridges?
3- If I can refill the cartridge, can I do it with any liquid or specific liquid ?
4- v2 does not sell all flavor I want, can I buy cartridge from other companies ? and will the cartridge be compatible with the v2 battery ?

Excuse me I know I have many questions, and I really appreciate you help.

I would advise you to read through the whole series but that thread will cover what you will need to know about parts.

Welcome to ECF!!! When I started vaping I started with 808's and quickly became a 510 user but with the question a Cartomizer is a cartridge with attomizer made in it and can be refilled a few times, a attomizer is just the atty than many use for dripping and the cartdridge is what you fill and it goes in the atty. When used 808's I bought my own juice from diff. vendors and filled my own. On the juice there are many ejuice vendors that have really great juice to refill or fill your cartomizers. Forgot, they don't explain cartomizers in that tutorial. They are an atomizer and a cartridge made into one. A LOT of people like them since it's simple to use. All you do is drip 25 drops into a standard carto. Let it sit for 30 min. Then vape away but you do have to add additional drops to it to keep the filler material wet. You don't want it to burn. If it does and you taste it. Throw it away immediately.

My first kit was also a V2 starter. It was OK but it didn't take long before I wanted something better. I have refilled my old V2 carts and it worked fine, the liquid type didn't seem to matter. The thing I really didn't like about the V2 was vapor production (low) and battery life (also very short).

If you decide to stick with KR8 kits, most would advise against V2 and say go with a Bloog, Volt, or Vapor4Life Kit. You woulld in all likelihood be happier. And once you finish a pre filled carto, you can refill it. Especially when NOT changing flavors.

I would go with the blank cartos that they sell on their site and get the adapter set. This way you willl be less likely to run into compatability issues with your cartos or batts and you can fill the cartos with whichever flavor you decide without worrying about getting flavors mixed together and potentially creating a flavor disaster.
