I bought a Jomo lite 40. The coil burnt up quite quickly. So I ordered 2 (5) packs of coils to make sure I had enough. Well the coils won't screw in. I tried coils from both packs. And if it seems like it did screw on it pops right back out when I go to screw the tank on. I am so frustrated. I've spent a bunch of money and a vape I can't use.
And yes I ordered the right coils.

Ok, calm down I'm sure someone here can help who knows that mod. Perhaps letting us know where you live would help...someone may know a reputable shop in your area who can set you straight.

In the meantime, do you have a back up vape? Friends who vape? A convenience store, tobacconist or gas station you can find a few disposable cigalikes, and thing to get you through until you have a second working device you like?

Take a deep breath, you can handle this. I'm sure someone can help. Perhaps you can review a youtube video or something and verify you got the right coils? Maybe there is a v2 of the coils or something and they install differently? See what you can find out, I am sure someone here will know your mod.

I just took my own advice and looked up a YouTube video. Ok that jumbo tank looks a lot like a nautilus atty crossed with a kanger. Several things I notice, one of them being poor engineering which will likely make for annoying problems and fuss and bother like leaky tanks, gurgling, maybe even spitting. Is this by chance your first device?

Next, looks like the replacement coils should have a blue rubber ring on them, that is the end that screws into your base. The other end screws into the metal tube hanging in your tank, that is your airflow "chimney". Btw, when you fill your tank don't let juice get down there, a mouthful of it isn't at all yummy. Make sure you are screwing the right end into the base.

The jomo lite 40 is a very inexpensive set up, hopefully your didn't get taken advantage of.

The replaceable heads (coil) thread into the base, ensure the previous o ring isn't stuck in the hole. If the ones you have don't thread in & get tight most likely you were sent the wrong ones.

The jomo lite 40 heads do not have blue o rings they are clearish white.

Their own instructions are incorrect, they show putting them in upside down, the exposed external threading on the head goes into the base not the chimney, the chimney is captured by the internal threads in the top of the head.

Occasionally the 510 pin in the bottom of the base gets screwed in so far you can't thread a new head in, the positive pin should protrude slightly from the surrounding threading.

Oh dear...and here is very Ernest young Tom who apparently works at JUMOTECH- BEST E CIG MANUFACURE IN CHINA, very optimistic and I beg to differ. He certainly tries very hard help his customers with problems that were particularly common in devices a few years ago, which is a very good thing. Too bad really he doesn't advise folks to TURN OFF their mods when he advises his clientele to STICK a screw driver into the neck of their 510 connection! OUCH!

Bah, sorry I'm on my kids iPad as they highjacked my computer and I can't figure out the cut and paste. But it's on YouTube and called "how to solve jomotech lite40 problem - very easy. Very easy, yes Tom. Thank you.

Now indeed we owe China for this wonderful invention and to this day there are very, very good manufacturers and e cigarette innovators in china who turn out quality, reliable, user friendly devices for a very good price. Why don't you poke around the ecf library here, learn about your options and what you may like, ask any question you have, and we can likely get you into a great device, with a usages style and delivery that meets your needs and lifestyle, and a few yummy juices with good ingredients that satisfy you for depending on where you live likely under $50. Just think of all time and money you will save not buying cigarettes and how happy you will be if vaping is just as easy, if not easier then cigarettes. No ashtrays to clean, no need to brush your teeth and gargle every time you kiss your loved ones, no nasty smells in your car....vape smells goooood. My husband says my hair smells great all the time, and bless his heart he thinks I keep changing shampoos as our teen girls line the bath with various bottles of goo.

You came to the right place, and you made a great decision to start vaping!

Thank you! I certainly hope so. I wish I would of educated myself more before diving right in. There's a lot more to this vaping world than meets the eye.
Yes, there is. But just watch a few youtube vids, keep vaping and youll be an expert in no time. Its not rocket surgery...brain science...well, you know what i mean. Research and practice are key.

I'm sure many of us could tell you, starting vaping is the hardest part. Sometimes we go through a little frustration trying to find a satisfying vape, at first it is so hard, so many choices, different styles of vaping. But be assured many find that happy place and never look back.

Yes it is my 1st device. I went ahead and ordered a SMOK 22 vape pen. Hoping that it will be easier to use and will still give a nice cloud :) I appreciate your reply. And unfortunately, I have to agree that it's nit the best quality device. I should have done more research. Do you know anything about the SMOK 22?

I am sure that your smok device will work much better for you. They are widely available and work well when they are working. They are known as an inexpensive mass produced device and while I have never personally had any trouble with mine because they are let's say more delicate I leave them at home. Plus I'm not a dl girl most of the time, prefer lower wattage, lower juice and battery consumption and more flavour so I prefer mtl on a high ohm coil. If I feel like clouds though I do have an alien and she hits for sure. Just juice and battery like the beast she is though so I drop my nic down if I'm just tooting around for fun.

Be sure to get your jumo working as a backup in case you loose or break your smok pen. It's always a good idea to have spare coils, spare tanks for each device and more juice then you can use on hand especially during the first year of your quitting. Unfortunately the stinkies are a lot easier to come by then a decent mod, tank and juice set up. So until you learn more and find a third device or an upgrade, just stay stocked.

Congrats on your decision to start vaping, I am sure you will have fun and learn a ton here!

Hang in there, and I showed up with vape gear not suited to my needs and etc. It gets easier, promise. Also, I made more than one inadvisable purchase (for me) on my way to a good vape. It's pretty rare to happen upon the perfect device right out of the gate so you are in good company and etc.

Best of luck, welcome

Jomo lite is a cheap 'clone' device. The easy answer is to ditch it and stop buying cheap clone devices off auction sites or rivers in South America.

One of the vendors at Vapefest UK used the Smok V8 pen to show off their liquids. Although I don't buy Smok, the performance was excellent. Long-term reliability is suspect. Back ups essential.

Yeah. I learned the hard way with Jomo Tech. I was so mad that not one of the 10 coils worked. So, being a single mom and only working part time my finances are limited. I did do some research and I found a great deal on a SMOK vape pen 22, which I believe is the version before the V8. It has been working quite well. Now if I could stop chain vaping and burning up my coils that would be great!
