I twisted 2 24 gauge wires together... then twisted those together. Had a heck of a time wrapping those springy things but with a little heat got it wrapped. Don't remember what the ohms where but it took about 130 watts before it even started to work. Ended up using 160 or above to get it to fire right. It wasn't unpleasant or hot just took all my battery life to heat up all that wire. I got a couple juggernaut coils and they take 120w minimum. So if you use ideal 80w coils and double the watts it will hurt you. But if you take a ideal 160w coil to 80w it won't fire for nothing.

It's possible with a sufficiently large coil and massive airflow, but would you want to?

Why is there a swear filter?

I didn’t notice that the watts had changed and took a big ole hit. Damn, I thought my throat was done for. It still hurts.

Do people really vape that? Good Lord...

I don't know exactly what your setup is, but probably not. Yes, people do vape at 200 watts, but most likely nobody is vaping the setup the way you had it at 200 watts.

Can you vape a 2 ohm single coil at 25 watts? If you made that build duals, it would be 1 ohm. Quads would take you down to .5 ohms. Make it 6 coils you're at .25, put 8 in there and you're at .12 and change. It would produce a lot more vapor than you're 2 ohm coil at 25 watts, but that vapor would have about the same heat and intensity if you vaped that build at 200 watts since you would have 8 different 2 ohm coils, each firing at 25 watts.

Yes, I torched a 1.8 resistance coil at 120 watts. (My mod scrolled around from lowest wattage to highest, which I didn't know. It was a bad scene, and I had to wash my tank and switch my coil immediately. Kind of like inhaling fire, and for all I know, there may have been flames.

People do vape at those wattages (with the right coil type) and, although it would never be my cup of tea (plus, battery life and juice consumption must both be horrendous) but some folks do like high wattage vaping and whatnot.

More power to them, say I. It takes all kinds of vaping for a vaper to find what they want. Etc.
