A customer recently asked me how to get water out of their vape. Here’s what I suggested:
- Disassemble the Vape: Take apart the tank, coil, and battery. Make sure to remove any detachable parts to allow thorough drying.
- Shake Out Excess Water: Gently shake the device to remove any excess water trapped inside.
- Dry with a Towel: Use a soft, dry towel to wipe down all parts, paying special attention to the tank and battery connections.
- Use Compressed Air: If available, use a can of compressed air to blow out any remaining water, especially from small crevices.
- Air Dry: Leave all the parts out to air dry completely for at least 24 hours. Ensure they are in a well-ventilated area.
- Check for Residue: Before reassembling, check for any water residue or damage. Make sure everything is completely dry to prevent short circuits.
- Test Before Use: Once everything is dry, reassemble your vape and test it to ensure it’s working properly.
