NOTE: I asked this question here and no one answered. I then asked on another large forum and the moderators jumped on it and said it was a very bad idea and required thousands of dollars of equipment and you can't do it yourself??? So I Googled it and this came up
- I am not recommending anyone do this or claim it is safe, so I am not suggesting anyone try this. But with Nicotine about to become prohibitively expensive..........???

I ASK IS THIS FEASIBLE OR SAFE TO DO ?????

{I removed the full directions because of forum rules}

I noticed the rules here do not allow use of pure nicotine.
The link I found showed how to boil down tobacco leaves. did mention you would eventually get pure nicotine if fully boiled {"you should boil the liquid. The purity of the nicotine is dependent upon how much of the water evaporates."}, so as per rules here I will not publish the directions as it could be boiled to a very high {almost pure} - and does mention pure nicotine is dangerous.

So the question I have is is there a way to extract nicotine from tobacco and not letting it get too concentrated???

The procedure I found only required the right type of tobacco leaves, water, a pot, a way to boil the water, paper towels to filter solution and protective gloves and eye protectors.

AGAIN IS THIS DANGEROUS TO DO ???

The Danger is in not knowing what you are doing. The process (most any type of extraction) can be safely done with the right knowledge, equipment, and PPE.

Frankly, if you need to ask "is it safe" then it is a pretty good indicator that you dont know enough yet.

Unfortunately ECF is probably not the right place to discuss it.

It was explained to me when I started that pure nicotine is not found in nature, and is so toxic it could kill every form of life on the planet.
I use 100mg. suspended in VG. I wash my hands every time I touch the bottle, and rinse my syringe in 91% Isopropyl then hot water. I would not mix any e-liquid with nicotine and then go sit down and watch a movie without cleaning my equipment, my mixing area and my hands first.
And that is with a nicotine solution of 10%.
I think you are starting down the wrong road. Buy the nicotine while you still can, and store the excess in your freezer.

I have done some research and saw few ways and i dont mean some cringe sketchy youtube videos...
The conclusion was that besides the fact that u need specific type of tobacco and not any tobacco like the one is meant to be smoked cause it wont worth it other way..... it also needs a lot of expensive equipment to do it and actual chemistry knowledge to try to extract nicotine to be vapable and healthy... :(
