Hi everyone! Hope you all are having a good day! Quick question, how often should one clean his or her tank? I bought the Smok TFV4 last Saturday night I'm about ten tanks into the quad coil it's working great I'm vaping a variety of juices and getting good flavor from all the different juices. I was thinking of cleaning the tank once my coils is pooched! Thought? Suggestions? Should I clean it before then? That would mean I'd have to remove the coil if it's fine to clean every coil switch I'll just stick to that thanks!!

My theory on this is the same as most other items, if it ain't broke don't "fix it". Over-cleaning or using alcohol will wear out seals and o'rings faster than not, plus you also run the risk of losing something or not getting everything back together properly. Been using the same 2 tanks(atlantis v1 and the arctic) since around the time they hit the market and not even 1 prob. with either. Just my reasoning, each to there own.

I only clean my tanks when needed like I see a dark ring on the bottom threads or when I see the wicking getting dark inside the holes of my subtank. I totally tear my subtank down to bits, removing the orings and thoroughly cleaning the crevasses. I can go 3+ weeks on a rayon subtank build vaping 10+mls a day of DIY juice.
I was totally against using dish soap to clean my parts but been using a few drops and as long as its rinsed completely I've not had any soap taste or issues but my subtanks are squeaky clean. IMO just hot water doesn't clean the juice residue or the orings like dish soap does....each to their own.

I agree. I just run them under hot water no alcohol and haven't had any issues!
