I first started looking at bottom feeders when my partner began getting frustrated with my constant fiddling with batteries, juice and cartomizers. It began to be an issue for her and to be quite honest, I was more frustrated with it than even she was. I quickly changed my mind about having to have a small PV and began searching for a more convenient PV...but still didn't want it to be HUGE.

My first bottom feeder worked very well and was actually pretty small, but the 14500 battery life just wasn't working for me. My second bottom feeder took the 18650 battery, so that was much better, but was a gravity feed system and let's just say that gravity feeding and I are not friends. The search continued to find the RIGHT bottom feeder for me.

The use of space inside and the trimmed down outer box is what sold me on my first Hog (and got me to come back for a second one) from Mike (Hogwart - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/modder-accessories-supplier-forum/196163-hogs-mods.html). If you look at the sizes of some of the other 18650 wood feeders...they have some fairly thick end caps and thick sides...they're just a bit big for me, though they are truly beautiful. Mike is building a beautiful mod and keeping it compact and those of us with smaller hands are truly thankful. Or even those of us who want this type of mod and still want to be able to get it in the pocket of our jeans or that little shirt pocket your smokes used to fit in.

I love the ease of being able to simply push the bottle through the cut out in the door and feed my atomizer or cartomizer (it works well with anything you put on it, even if using an adapter). It literally takes all of 2 seconds and a small amount of pressure and I've got a fresh vape to enjoy. Win.

My partner isn't standing there tapping her foot any longer while I try to get my gear together before we go out somewhere and I'm not doing A THING beyond filling the 6ml bottle and putting in a fresh battery while I wait for my coffee to be done in the morning. Nothing else all day...fill, fresh battery, vape ALL DAY (I vape 5 or 6ml a day btw)

Beautiful mod, convenient, as small as it can possibly be and EXTREMELY well made. This is a quality device that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for a bottom feeder.

There have been many mods in my life...but this is "my one". I love no other mod more than I love my Hog. :)

Here are some photos of the two I own. The first one I bought is made of Poplar and the second one is Bocote end caps and Birch body. The second one is even smaller than the first one as he's done away with the divider between bottle and battery.

Thank you for the comment Chet. :)

You are right, there is no on/off switch. I haven't had any problems carrying it around in my pocket with the battery in. The newer mod has a different switch than the first one, and it takes a little more pressure to fire the mod...not to say that it's hard to push, that's not the case at all, it's just not a "hair trigger" type switch. I suppose if you were wearing super tight jeans you might not want to carry it in your pocket, but beyond that, I think it's pretty safe to pocket. :)
