How much do you vape (mL usage)?

So after getting set up with my new toys (Nautilus and a mini Nautilus on an MVP2) I've totally switched to vaping. I seem to consume juice at an alarming rate though. I'm not vaping on especially high settings (4.2V, mid-level airflow). I seem to be pushing through 4-5mL/day though. I've been vaping A LOT though, nearly the entire time I'm in my car, near-constant while at home, frequently in the office. I would say I've used about 30mL of juice just this past week.

At what point am I vaping too much (aside from the obvious nicotine intake limits, I'm not making myself sick)? How much do you folks vape? Has it changed significantly since you first started, in greater quantity or lesser? I haven't had a cigarette in a week, so I'm guessing that some of my very-heavy usage is related to being a week off cigarettes, what wisdom can ECF give me on the subject?

As long as you're not over-nic'ing - and you'll know that! - imo whatever you're comfortable with. A higher nic level may result in vaping less, if you're in for the nic. If you're in for flavor and the process, then a lower nic might be advised.

Some gear will run through more juice than others, and, of course, power settings will have a big impact. Bigger clouds have to come from somewhere.

For me, I range from about 3 to 5 mls a day, so that's about 21 to 35 per week. (I have several toppers ready at all times, with different flavors, so it's hard to be real precise...) Extreme cloud chasers might do that in a day

It's really just what you feel comfortable with.

Exactly what DavidOck said. Saves me the typing :)

Ok, so it seems 30-40mL a week is about average. That's cool with me as long as you folks haven't seen any adverse reactions. At a coil a week and a tank a day that's gonna run me about $30/week to vape though. Cheaper than cigarettes for sure (especially considering my insurance drops $120/mo by certifying as a non-smoker), but I've seen folks talk on here about vaping for $1/day or less. Does that typically require DIY juice and rebuildable coils? I'm looking at some potentially major expenses (moving and a new car!) so I'm definitely interested in being as budget-conscious as possible.

Yeah, I over-nic'd the first day after getting my set up. Hit it hard a few times right in a row with some 18mg juice. At first the head-rush was like "woah, that's cool". Then I got the metallic taste in my mouth and the stomach queasy-ness and decided that wasn't so cool after all. It was several hours before I took another puff. I've switched to some 12mg juice and that's much easier to manage.

The missing info is nic level. And really that is not critical as long as you aren't getting nic sick. YOU haven't smoked in a week!

I average probably 7-10ml a day. at 3-6 mg nicotine. I notice I vape a bit more than I smoked. But I can also vape places I couldn't or wouldn't smoke. Like my car or the living room or my office. On a real stressful day I will drip a bit of 12 or 18 even to take the edge off. It has been almost 4 weeks no smoking for me.

Very good question. I started with 24mg went to 18mg a couple of orders, back on 24mg. I vaped quite a bit more on the 18mg and when I went back to 24mg I vape almost as much as the 18, just a little less.

Rebuildables are a natural evolution for some but not all vapers. I like to tinker and while I am completely willing to drop ridiculous amounts of cash on vaping only in certain areas. Coils and juice are areas I can control. 100 feet of kanthal and a box of cellucotton can be had for around $20. That is enough wick and coil for a year once you get through the I suck at building coils stage.

And I DIY flavors and rotate some nicoticket flavors as I perfect my skill at DIY. Made a butterscotch and custard mix last night that is ridiculously good. Just like coil building DIY is more expensive at first because you try stuff and it tastes terrible so you throw it our, or put it up in the closet. After the first crazy couple of months my spending is starting to wind down. $ per day not sure. But I haven't smoke today and that is pretty damn cool. And I would caution stockpiling juices as the further you get from a cig your taste will come back. Some juices will taste terrible at that point. You will be like how did I ever vape this crap?
