How many puffs in a row?

I've been using the smoketip brand of the KR808D-1, (batteries and cartomizers), and was wondering what the maximum puffs in a single session should be?

I've noticed that if i take more than 3 puffs in about 30 secs, the cartomizer starts getting warm, so i wait about a minute or two, than take a couple more puffs.

What do you guys do?

And does the number of puffs in say a 1 minute session depend on the brand of cartomizer, so if i bought a V4L cartomizer, would i be able to get more puffs in a minute?

Also, i was thinking of getting a fatbat for my smoketip cartomizers (iGo, pigcig). Would i see the cartomizer heating up more rapidly attached to one of these bigger batteries?

to my understanding, if the cartomizer is getting too warm, that means the solution on the padding is getting dry, and could potentially burn. I would like to extend the life of my cartomizers, so i just want to know the "BEST" way to puff on them.

thanks!

I honestly find taking a puff here and there works better than vaping like Im smoking a full cig.It also keeps a more constant nic level so you dont get cravings.Soon you will find the space between vapes getting longer.

If you have to go outside or just have a smoke break,I find using two units helps.Alternate when one gets hot and allow the other to wick the juice and cool down.

I agree with this. I never have a "cigarette" with my PV. Drag here and there. Only with driving it is more like a cigarette because I don't want to hold it for a puff-puff deal. :vapor:

Are you using a manual battery? If you are taking long drags, you could easily over heat the cart with a couple puffs.

One of the reasons I like the Automatic Batteries (especially for new users) is that is has an auto shut-off after a few seconds of drag, to prevent overheating the cart. With my KR808D-1 auto batteries I can puff 10 times in a row, just like a regular cig, then put it down for a while.

Da South!
There is a wick, usually a silica thread, that wicks juice down from the cartridge to the atty or atomizer. That is the dohicky that actually turns your juice into vape. When you think atty, think light bulb...that little coil of metal that glows white hot...well in a PV it glows red hot and vaporises the juice...if it gets too hot and dry though, it'll pop! So you need to let it have a little cool down time.
