Nah, not weird at all. The one thing I've noticed since I started vaping is that a lot of flavors don't translate well to ejuice. It may taste close to what you would expect and in some cases it doesn't even come close. I'm not a picky eater myself, but some things I like to eat I have yet to find anything close to in a vape.
I currently have about 20 different flavors in my "juice bar" and the same amount in my steeping cabinet. I have a few flavors that I really, really, REALLY love and always have on-hand. However, I like to different flavors available. I don't stick with a set amount. Some times you feel like a nut, some times you don't

I've tried literally hundreds of juices from many different vendors. I do have the ADV (G2 caRnY 4, the best RY4 ever IMO), but I get tired of it some times and need something different to vape. I also DIY and have a few juices that I've perfected over the years such as Key Lime Pie and Vanilla Cream Pie. I also love to try and clone some vendor juices I've tried. Vaping has turned into a hobby for me and I have to keep a strict monthly budget or I'd spend all kinds of money on juices and DIY flavorings (the wife thinks I already have plenty, but she's not a vaper and, therefore, has no clue as to my addiction....er, uh, I mean hobby

)
If you are into DIY, I'm using NF Organic Key Lime flavoring and mixed @10% with 3% sweet cream and 3% graham cracker, it makes a killer vape with a clean flavor and you can definitely taste the lime. I tried bumping up the flavoring to 15% once and the lime flavor about knocked me outta my chair! It's that strong, yet maintains a good lime flavor!
