Okay, this is interesting. So, if I have 18mg nicotine content, how many ml (of if someone wants to answer me in drops? LOL) of juice to I have to vape to actually get 18mg of nicotine? I'm curious about this because I'm trying to convert mg of nicotine in juice to what I was smoking in analogs to see if I'm staying the same or cutting back on my nic intake.

Tough to translate vaping versus an analog.... a lot of supposition and no scientific hard answer,
it can depend highly on how you smoked an analog....heavy drags down to the filter or one
or two light and burn out in the ashtray.
The nicotine is absorbed differently and at a different rate, comparing the amount of nic
in a pack of analogs and a mL of juice is comparing apples and oranges.

Most people here will more keep track of the mg/mL and how many mL per day used.
If the nicotine level is good enough to stay off analogs it's good enough for me!! :)

And welcome to ECF

Absorption rate of vaping is variously cited as being somewhere between 10% to 40% as compared to analogs.
So you have to factor that in when trying to do any such calculations.

Some studies have said as little as 10% absorption rate.
And some people have found flaws in those studies and tested themselves, finding as much as 40% absorption.

But it also depends on how efficient of a vapor you are too.
In other words, it doesn't work like that.

1ml of the juice will equal 18mg of nicotine. How much you have to vape to "actually get" (absorb) 18mg nicotine is almost impossible to answer. Some of it will almost certainly not be absorbed and exhaled. So it will be more than 1ml needed to absorb 18mg. A study on nicotine levels in blood plasma from e-cigs is here - Preliminary Analysis of Blood Nicotine Concentration

1ml. The nic is added at the ratio of 1mg per 1ml. Get a syringe and drip in one ml and count the drops. lol :) Edit. Papa Lazarou gave a better answer.

I want to know how many drops are equal to how much ml.

Others have answered this, but I'm more of a visual kind of guy, so....

1 ml is 1 cubic centimeter. A centimeter is a little less than 1/2 inch. So picture a square box, slightly less than 1/2 on each side, and fill it with liquid. That's a ml.

Thx for the study link. I have been trying to figure out how much nicotine we're getting while vaping.
I was chewing 2mg nic gum and smoking in between. When I first started vaping I tried the 18mg juice and it didn't touch the cravings. I switched to 24mg strength and the cravings stopped. No gum, no analogs. I would get adverse side effects with the nic gum but have yet to have them with vaping. I sometimes vape constantly during the day.
This confirms my suspicion that we are not getting the absorbtion rate that analogs or gum gives.
